Help. I installed DING and I'm getting the notices, but when I click on the headline link the page it goes to has restrictions, but no fares listed. Something like "The offers listed above are targeted to the airport you selected during registration.
To modify your selection visit Update Registration. You may select up to 10 airports for the "My Airports" section." followed by the rules and regulations.

There are no "offers listed above."

Hi there, sorry for the silly question, but I am new to the Ding concept. I have a long way off to wait for my flights in December, but I have a question- do you book your flights when the dates are released, and then rebook when the ding fares come out?

How do you "rebook"- do you cancel your existing reservation first, then book using ding, or do you book the lower rate first, then go back and cancel the original ressie? Can you cancel on-line or do you have to call in? Is there a fee for cancelling?

It is only to your advantage to book at the fare when it first comes out, IF you are planning to use SW at a later date. While you can change to a lower priced fare without any charge, the lower fare isn't always refundable. Usually you end up with a ticketless travel credit that can be used at a later dater (usually within 6 months)
You have to have 2 windows open, one with the Ding! purchase on it and the other with the cancellation of ticket on it.
There is a thread somewhere in here with great directions. I tend to get a little befuddled. I will try to find it for you.
