Gotta share this story with you guys.

I've already got a trip booked for May 1 to 4 with 2 adult friends to celebrate my birthday (5/6). I booked at $135.60 but dinged that down to $115.60. So I had a $60 credit.

I was toying with the idea of taking my oldest DD for her 7th birthday on May 22. I was orginally going to book Wed 5/17 to late Sat 5/20. We'd have 3 pretty full days in the parks and she'd have Sun to recover, be home for her birthday and miss 2 1/2 days school. I was even thinking of doing it as a surprise. Pick her up from school and take her to the airport but DH didn't like the surprise idea and she's just like him so I probably wouldn't do that.

Then the Saturday flight was no longer available. So I was thinking Fri 5/19 to Tue 5/23. She'd be there for her birthday and miss 3 days of school. I had to ask her about this-would she mind not being with her siblings and Dad for her birthday. Well I guess she's a little like me because she chose Disney! So I booked a room (Pop) and was still thinking over the trip when I noticed that some of the other flight times were no longer available. I decided yesterday it was time to book. So I pull up the flights to make sure they are available and then redo it to try to book them as 1 way segments when I get an error message. I call SW and they asked me what flights and what price. I told them I had to relook it up to get the return flight info and I notice the flight to Orlando that was $59 is now up to $144. I say "Oh that must be the problem" and she says "don't worry I already put those flights aside for you". So I was able to book the flights at $135.60 RT. She did book it as a RT but said she could split them out if I found a ding fare for the return trip that was cheaper.

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with SW to have honnored that price! And I'm so glad I didn't wait another minute longer to book.
