Thanks. That was a fun show but showing its age. I am actually looking forward to seeing Captain EO even though when it was showing before I did not like it very much. :confused3

I have the same feeling about it that HydroGuy has. I am looking forward to Captain EO (though not sure how "limited" its run will be?), even though I thought it was silly when it was there before. I don't know how many times I sat through EO and put on those purplish 3-D glasses, but I didn't love it. I just tolerated it. However, now that it has been gone for a while and HISTA bores me to tears, I am glad to see something new (old) replace it. I didn't realize HISTA was gone forever, though. I thought there may be a chance of it coming back after EO leaves again. I won't be sad if HISTA is gone forever and never returns!

If they can't get Mickey's Philharmagic in there or something new and exciting, hopefully DL can hang on to EO for a while in the interim, as I have a feeling it will continue to be a very big draw now that MJ is no longer with us.

The last paragraph from the Yesterland page hits the nail on the head:

"When Captain EO is ready to retire again, let’s hope there’s something brand new in the Magic Eye Theater—not the return of a tired 3-D movie that already ran more than 11 years at Disneyland. Tomorrowland needs to replace pop culture from the 1980s with something that is once again innovative and fresh for the next decade."

I was a lot littler when Captain EO was there...I can't wait to see it! I remember seeing it and the ladies nails came out and scared the cr@p out of me....

They could do something super cool like a newer Bugs life like show that is interactive or something after CEO is gone again!

Off hand I cannot think what HISTA means...... as embarrassing as it is to admit that here. ;) No really...... TIA

Oh.... thank you.... :) he he! I have not seen that show.

I am glad we did it in October. Hadn't done it for years and the kids enjoyed it. Buh- bye!

I saw it a long time ago as a younger kid. Then a couple years back I decided to try it again with my friend. It wasn't terrible, but then again, I'm not running back at rope drop for multiple shows. I'd gladly take ITTbaB or Muppets over it any day.

I think they should put an updated version of Mickey's Philharmagic in there and that would be great, IMO. I love it in WDW and feel it would be a fantastic addition to DL. It's one of my favorite shows and is a truly unique Disney experience.

DD10 and I were there on HISTA's last day and we watched it. No, it's not terrific, but it's not bad. Personally, while I will watch Capt. EO (if not just to see MJ before all his surgeries) even back in the day I thought it was pretty hokey.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Mickey's Philharmagic was put in there?! A girl can dream, can't she. :cloud9:

BTW I did take a lot of pix of HISTA mostly because I wish I had pictures of many of the rides/attractions that are now gone. I did the same with Orange Stinger and Dino Jack. I've got a great picture of DD "holding up" the orange.
