hire car for 1 day???

hi everyone,

just a quickie about hire cars, i dont like driving when i go on holiday and got around pretty much ok the last time i went on holiday but i would like to hire a car for 1 maybe 2 days so i can go to the beach in my own time, does anyone know is this possible or has anyone done this or is it stupidly dear to hire a car for that short a time. Any advice on this would be great.

I just tried to see how much it would cost for a 4 door compact car for 1 day in September, with fully inclusive insurances etc (that includes everything except the tank of petrol and extra drivers). I was guessing that you wouldn't want a particularly big car if you're only having it for a day. I specified that you'd pick it up from International drive (pleanty of other choices tho')

It came to £32 - not too bad!

That was through Florida Car hire . There are plenty of other car hire places to choose from, it's just that they are the first one listed in my favourites links!!
