Dancing With the Stars - Fall 2025

Show tends to appear rushed as they near the end each week like they are running out of time. Seems they could eliminate one of those pro dance numbers and allow more time for judges remarks or to provide the results.

Looking forward to seeing Louis and the other 5 original cast members. I only recognized 5 of them total in this picture though!

I only recognize 3 of the original pros. I'm surprised they are allowing Jonathan Roberts back. I thought he was banished for good after allowing Marie Osmond to do that terrifying and traumatizing scary doll freestyle dance. I remember even Tom was YELLING at Jonathan for that choice. Marie tried to take the blame, saying she wanted a dance inspired by her dolls she sold on QVC/HSN. But, I've seen her dolls. They aren't anything like a Chucky movie doll. And all the judges including Tom said as the pro, Jonathan should have known better than to do a dance like what they did.

Just as many of you are still voting for Andy as one of your favorites, I was voting for Marie - up until that dance. I was too traumatized to do so after that.

That dance still haunts me

I passed by the TV and saw a commercial for Extra, the TV celebrity news show. Derek is now the host of the show. He has replaced longtime host Billy Bush.

According to USA Today:

"Hough explains that the hours he works are actually more conducive to balancing his family life.

[Derek said,] '[Haley & I] talked about it and the schedule, having this consistency from a Monday to Friday job essentially, but being done around 2 o'clock because we shoot the show in the morning fast,' he says. 'I have the whole afternoon to be home with the family, to be present, and to be there as dad, as husband, and then have the weekends off.'"

He adds, "It was totally 100% cleared with the family, my beautiful wife."

He'll take time off to soak in parenthood. "I am taking a paternity leave. That was important. ... That's a nonnegotiable," he says. "And then even later on, too, at 6 months ... it's really important for me to be more present during that time, too."
