I'm researching a hotel for next month & this is one I'm considering. It has pretty much come down to Hilton Bonnet Creek (stayed there last weekend), S/D (also stayed there) or Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista (never been). I have a few questions about this hotel.
1. Is there a way to get a better rate than at the Hilton site? I found out about LMT, after booking our stay at HBC last month.
2. How often do the shuttles run? We have decided we will only stay at HBC in the future, if we add cab fare into the hotel rate. We won't use their transportation again. Will we need to take cabs from HLBV or is their transportation better? (For example, HBC buses run once an hour & often stop at all parks. If you just miss a bus, you can have very close to 2 hrs. invested in getting to or from a park.)
3. For anyone who has stayed at HLBV & HBC, do you feel there was a significant advantage of one over the other (other than EMH @ HLBV)? The rates I'm seeing now are only $4 different between the two. It would probably come down to transportation for us, if there's a difference. We plan to eat at Jiko after AK closes, & I was thinking it would be convenient to be able to take the bus to DTD. Transportation to the parks is more important though.
TIA for the help & advice.
