Hilton Head - Thanksgiving Availability......

Has anyone had any luck getting Disney HH for Thanksgiving? Any suggestions --- what would be our luck if we got on a waiting list for a 2BR?

My son just asked me on Saturday evening if we could change our HH ressie from Labor Day weekend to T-day week. He reminded me how we have spent the past few years there (it's around my wedding anniversary) and how it just wouldn't be "right" to spend the week anywhere else. I couldn't resist the baby brown eyes pleading with me but I told him that he shouldn't get his hopes up because the resort is probably sold out. I didn't hold much hope myself when the line to MS was busy from 9:00 to 9:15 yesterday morning when I called. When I finally did get through I was told there were no 1 or 2 bedrooms available. I broke down and asked about a cash ressie and was told again no dice. Then something wonderful happened, all of sudden the CM found a one bedroom for us! Yes, it's cash and yes, it's full price but we're going to HH over Thanksgiving! Woohoo!! Me, DS and DH are very excited and feel very fortunate to be able to get the ressie.
