Hilton Head Resort in January

Hi all,

My DD has a gymnastic meet in Hilton Head at the end of January and we are thinking off spending 2 nights at our 'home' resort since we are going to be there. Does anyone know what activities are available during this time? Also, we will be there on Superbowl Sunday. Do you think the resort will have any activities to go along with that? Just curious.

Last year my wife and I were there for Superbowl Sunday and there was nothing going on. We bought some charcoal and cooked hot dogs at Big Murgy's den, and sat there with one other couple and watched the game. Most of the CMs didn't seem to be aware that the Superbowl was being played that day. That was last year, perhaps I'll put a bug in their ears this year, since we will be checking out the Thursday before Superbowl.

I just got off the phone with a CM at the HH resort. When I asked about superbowl activites, she said she didn't think there was any planned...put me on hold and then came back and said, "I think we can maybe get something setup in community hall or the den with a large screen tv" So...we'll see.
