Hilton Head in June?

Well, we're just waiting on our closing, so we've been thinking of where our first trip will be.

Any thoughts of how difficult it is to get a 2 BR at HHI Sun-Thr mid to late June? We'd be booking at 7 months.

If the 2BR is too difficult, we probably could take 2 studios or 2 one bedrooms.

I'll also give MS a call just to see what they can tell me.

Your best bet will be in a 2bdrm, since there are only 21 1brms and studios. If you can, be somewhat flexible with your dates and utilize the waitlist. Mid-June through Mid-August is the most difficult time to get at 7 mos, but others have had success, so it certainly can't hurt to try.

Since these are not HH points, your chances of a 2 BR are slim and a smaller unit VERY slim.

We used the 7 month window to get HHI ressies for this past July. No problem! Did not even book day by day, no waitlist or anything. So, you never know until you try!

Up until this year the reports were couldn't even book day by day to get much of anything. So I wouldn't count on getting summer at HH unless I owned there or work out a direct trade with a member there. This will be more and more true as SSR is sold.

Thanks for the replies. MS said if we do day-by-day we should be okay. We'll give it a shot later this year and see what happens. If not, there's other options.

Not set on HHI, just that's it's a more realistic drive for us if we want to go that way.
