OK so today my husband says lets go to HH for Thanksgiving. What a great idea but#1 Its late to plan this. #2 I cant call until Monday. SO I am asking before I get my hopes up. Do you think HH will be sold out for Thanksgiving? If not have you been and how was it? Thanks for any info! :sunny:

I do not know whether they are sold out or not, but for your sake, I hope the beach is not under rehab at the beach house. We travelled to HHI in late Oct. and they were progressing towards that area (we were staying at Marriott's Surf Watch Resort).

If you go, we'll be there. Part of it depends on what size villa you want, I would think. We were on a waiting list for a couple nights on points for a long time. Yet, just a couple weeks ago I called to change to member's cash and a 1 BR was available. And only a little more than $110 for the night, which I thought was very reasonable. So remember that it may be sold out on points (like I said-depending on what size villa) but not on members' cash. If you want to order Thanksgiving dinner, 11/10 was the deadline for ordering from the resort. However, they have what sounds like and excellent meal you can still order from Piggly Wiggly down the street. This will be our first Thanksgiving at HH, but so far it's sounding like it'll be great! Oh, sunny and in the upper 60s all week. Feel free to PM me if you want any more info from Piggly Wiggly.

I just canceled this past week for Thanksgiving week (Sunday - Saturday) a two bedroom and a studio which were on cash. The rates were not bad. You may get lucky. Cash ressies only have to be canceled about a week before (I think it is six days.)

The resort is traditionally sold out for Thanksgiving. But by Friday night it opens up, if you'd want to try coming for just the weekend.

It won't hurt to call MS in the morning -- you never know! Let us know if you're able to make it, we'll be there!

Well, I will call and hope for a cancellation in the AM I hope to see you all on Turkey Day! :sunny:
