Hilton Head Dolphin Tours -- Excellent News

Low Country Dolphin & Beach Combing Tours are now Disney.

We just received an email from Scott Henry. Scott formerly worked for Disney and ventured off on his own to start Low Country Touring. Scott does give an awesome dolphin tour. It's good to see that Disney realizes a good thing when they see it.

We have done tours with Scott the last 3 summers. I'm confident he'll do his best for Disney as he did in the past.

Great news! I have heard wonderful things about Scott. We're off to HH for our first trip at the end of this week, and we were planning to call him for his Dolphin Tour. Can this be booked thru Disney now, or is it something that hasn't started yet.

From the sounds of the email Scott sent, it seems as if tours with him can be now arranged through Disney. I would suggest if you are interested in having Scott as your captain, that you might want to ask at the Disney reservation desk if he's now doing their tours.

As for Handicapped Accessable, definately ask at the resort if this is a possibility. I believe the boat we've gone out on would be hard for someone with limited capabilities to get in and out of. My DM is in a wheelchair and I know she would have never been able to manuever getting on and off. Maybe the resort has a way of helping or a different boat which could be used. It certainly doesn't hurt to inquire.
