For our trip next month, we were trying to decide which building to choose to put in a request for. I guess my question is, how do you know where the 2 bedroom units are? We have TWO - 2 bedroom units reserved and I would like to be in the same building if possible. Do all of the buildings have TWO - 2 bedroom units in them? (I guess the ones with the Grand Villas do not, but I don't know where those are).

Any help on the building configurations would be most appreciated..

Yes, all of the buildings have TWO 2 bdr units in them at least, most have 4. Bldg 18 had 4 2-bdr units, as well as the GV, studio/1bdr. I think if you just request to have the 2 rooms in the same building, you will be fine.

This may help with the <a href="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=226883">HH Building configuration.</a>

I'd just request 2 villas in the same building.

Good Luck!

Thank you for the information. Is there an airial view of the resort on line? I remeber when we first joined DVC and DIS, somebody posted a picture of BCV color coded with the types of rooms. Is there anything similar on HH?

I'm not aware of an aerial view, but Tommy Towery has a HH Resort map on his site.

(Go to the website and the map is linked under DVC Resort Information.)

To figure out the view, look at the side of each building opposite the entry walkways. Many look towards the Marsh (Broad Creek), a few overlook the pool and some have a view of the interior of the island (some woods, some towards other buildings). The views listed are what can be seen from the balcony. A few rooms will have a peek at the marina from the walkway and windows in the room.

Enjoy!

Not that this information would help your 2 br questions, but we just returned from HHI last night. We were there celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary.

We stayed in building 30, at the end of the driveway. We were in room 3014, in a studio configuration. We were told at the front desk that most of the studios are in the main building, but only about 3 to 4 studios were elsewhere on the property. We had an "interior" view, but we were very close to the pool and the Mercantile store. Parking was at our door almost.

Be sure and go down to the beach at the end of the drive in the evening and look at all the very small crabs running the sand. There are literally hundreds of them. If you walk on the beach, they scatter and it looks like the sand is moving!

Watch out if it rains, the patios are not very well protected and you get wet.
