Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront ??

Hi all,

My family and I are staying at the Hilton Cocoa Beach after our April 15-19 Disney cruise. I plan to take the Budget rental car shuttle back to pick up the car then go to hotel. Will they let us check in that early? How about the beach? Is it really directly on the beach? How is the hotel pool?

Yes, the Hilton is right on the beach. I've posted a few pictures below. We were there a year ago. I don't know about early check-in. The beach is beautiful--I thought it was much more beautiful than the beaches here in San Diego! The hotel pool seemed very small to us and there is no spa. It was January, so we didn't use the pool. But it is a very nice pool deck with lots of places to sit. April should be great!

We had a very nice stay there. They messed up our reservations--we had reserved a junior suite. There was a convention going on at the same time, and that suite wasn't available. They gave us the family suite with the adjoining room. It worked out, however we didn't have a view of the ocean.

we stayed ther in Nov - no comp breakfast, no shuttle of their own....but it was mention they were getting a new manager who wanted to improve things.....there was no renovation going on while we were there, at least nothing noticeable. They will let you leave your car there free during the cruise though.

just wanted to add one thing - the pool is not sheltered from the wind coming off the beach - when we were there it was too chilly to swim for even our 9 year old - the pool at the resort next door is fully sheltered and people were swimmimg there - they got the sun but none of the ocean breezes....

We just stayed there in Dec. before our 12/9 dd. It was a very nice hotel and all the renovations seemed done to me, anyway. They did not offer a free breakfast but they do have a shuttle service which we did not use because there where 9 of us plus all the luggage so it was easier for us to get a limo service to pick us up. I can't help with the price because DH works for Hilton so we only paid $59.00 (employee rate) but it was very nice and we didn't have any problems.Have a great time! Here are the only pics I have of the hotel. The 1st is the fron, 2nd is the back area from the boardwalk leading to the beach and the 3rd is by the pool area.
