Here is my call for todays Primaries

Kentucky
Clinton 62%
Obama 36%

Oregon
Clinton 44%
Obama 50% * I hope i am wrong about this!:confused3

I'd post a prediction but I've been off so many times that I'll just post my fervent hope that Hillary wipes the floor with him in Kentucky and gets within 5 points in Oregon (and maybe even wins it by a narrow margin).

Like I keep saying if certain individuals bother you, consider using ignore and that applies to everyone. Personally I love it (for now) but of course YMMV.

I have never yet put anyone on ignore, however, I may have to change that with the election coming up. Some people seem to exist for the sole purpose of being annoying. Since that is all they do, the inevitable become extremely good at it.

Thoughts and prayers for your mum, JARNJ3.

Hi folks - Mom is still in the hospital ICU - fighting for her life, on a ventilator (they can't solve why she can't breathe - pneumonia has been treated with antibiotics - but still no lung relief.....). Thank you so much for your positive thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry about your mother and she'll be in my prayers. Stay strong and update us on her condition. We're here for you. Your hardship hits close to home, considering some day I'll be going through what you're going through. :grouphug:

I'm sorry they haven't found the reason she's not breathing on her own. Here's to God's hands helping those Dr's find out why and they are able to fix it.

This will mean that he only won 1 Primary since the Rev scandal, and his numbers dropped big time. The SD's HAVE TOO consider this.

I STILL think she is gonna pull this off & get the nom!:cheer2:

Sorry but the SDs will not take this under consideration. They don't want to rock the boat by voting against a black man. People will be called racist  :rolleyes1

Nope, Obama will be our Democratic nom and the Dems will lose the general election because no one had the GUTS to stand up to Obama and say "no you can not win the general election" and voted for someone (Hillary) who at least had a decent chance.

as for the question would I really want McCain instead of Obama for President. I thought long and hard over the last few days about this question because I have a funny feeling that will be the match up in November.
Still not 100% sure which way I will go, but right now McCain is looking less evil to me than Obama.
I do not agree or like McCain but I distrust Obama a heck of a lot more then McCain so right now it is definitely a case of the less evil of the two.

While looking at the news tonight - I came across this opinion piece by Arianna Huffington. Too little, too late - but its still a nice read........

I still don't get why Hillary is summarily dismissed as a VP candidate. I still believe that if Hillary were "Bill" - a joint ticket would be a no-brainer.....

I am sorry to hear about your mom and prayers for you and her.

I also believe if Hillary were "Bill" it would be a joint ticket. Funny, this race reeks of sexism but no one will talk or admit that.

I still think a joint ticket is a good idea.

JARNJ3. my prayers and thoughts are with your Mom. Keep us posted.

I am sorry to say I agree with you.

It is logical to see it this way. They were talking last night on MSNBC and one woman did mention the riots if Hillary got the nom. I can't wait until June 3rd gets here and we can see where it goes from here.

I have to say the OS and their smugness is grating on my nerves. Calling him Pres Obama...:lmao: He is running against someone else IF he gets the nom and considering Obama is wet behind the ears...I think McCain will wipe him all over the floor when it comes to debates.

I don't think that Obama or McCain are either one much good at debates. It'll be interesting to see who comes across better if it comes down to those two.

Considering Obama has had to debate with Hillary, maybe he's learned something or will take something away from that experience.

Geraldine Ferraro has finally begun speaking about the sexism. I'm glad to hear it.

I wonder why real sexism is seemingly more palatable to the SD's than false accusations of racism?

It all stinks. I *really* wanted Hillary Clinton.

I should have read further. This answers my question in my previous post. It makes perfect sense now. They are assuming women will NOT riot or raise a stink. I'm not suggesting we riot by any means, but perhaps some well-publicized, good old-fashioned protests against sexism would be a good idea. I hope someone organizes something like that.

No. That is not the way politics is played in this country. i will be very disappointed if Hillary does not win, but I will not protest a democratic process. I will however cast my vote in November for whichever candidate I find least objectionable. Right now that looks to be McCain.

How come no one is worried about the Hillary Supporters Rioting?

How come no one is Screaming racism saying the Obamas supporters would riot?

Ted Kennedy has a brain tumor...
