Tell me and the good people here why Hillary should be the nominee and what measure you're using other than SD arm twisting, blackmail or calling in favors?

She's behind in pledged delegate count, super-delegate count, and votes. No, Florida and Michigan don't count, caucus's do, and any Democrat will win in NY, CA, MA, etc.

So how is she going to win this thing? And don't bother countering by asking how Obama is going to win.

Tell me and the good people here how Hillary is going to win?

Btw, Hillary has $31,000,000 in her war chest and $16,000,000 in debts.

McCain has $11,000,000.

Obama has $51,000,000.

I think Hillary should be the nominee because she won KEY states that wins in the GE!!!! I can't be any clearer than that. I FEEL she'll get things done; where as with Obama... I think he'll be another Carter and do NOTHING. (sorry to those Carter fans--He's a decent man, but he's doing more outside of the Presidency than in it) Those are just the top reasons, but I'm sure I could come up with more.

I think she has a strong case to the SD's that she could win the GE against McCain. At this point I think the democratic party is toast because the suppoters and media have blown it up. I don't need to say anything more to you. Bye Bye.

That has been disussed a million times. SHE HAS THE POPULAR VOTE (counting Fl & MI) and she won all the MUST HAVE STATES.

I think the DNC is seriously underestimating the power of their woman consituents! SERIOUSLY!

So according to you.....whoever has the most $ wins??????? Did work for Kerry a few years ago!:rolleyes1

BTW no one is talking about just how poor the DNC is........

RNC has $149,015,244
DNC has $72,822,545

DNC has lost many of their big donnors over this! Just wait for the onslought in the summer & fall.

EXACTLY!!!:thumbsup2 I was going to say the same thing about the money, but decided not to waste my time. Politics is politics. the person you're responding to just likes to argue and poke a stick at you.

particularly in Florida. People there are generally big donors and are not happy. I read several articles a while back about donors asking for their money back over the whole Florida debacle.

Don't blame them. I got a survey and donation form today from the DNC. I said "no way". If they don't count my vote, then they don't get the money. Why should I shell out money if my voice can't be heard?

Thanks Dolce for that memo. I haven't seen that one before. Where's Robin, she seems to be the uniter of the groups.

FYI, FL and MI don't count and there's NOT going to be any compromise that will put Hillary over the top for the nomination.

As far as "MUST HAVE STATES", Hillary isn't going to win Texas or WV no matter how much she pontificates about it.

Any Democrat will take NY, CA, and MA.

As of now, without Houdini contortions, Hillary is losing. And that will not change in the little time she has to.

I think the DNC is seriously underestimating the power of their woman consituents! SERIOUSLY!

And I think the Hillary supporters are seriously underestimating the ability of people to see right through the ********.

So according to you.....whoever has the most $ wins??????? Did work for Kerry a few years ago!:rolleyes1

Don't ever put words in my mouth. I've got a paper trail 100 miles long and anyone can check the truth if they want.

However, I sure as hell would rather have Obama's $51,000,000 than Hillary's $31,000,000 and $16,000,000 in debts. YMMV

Btw, the first personal Hillary paid in campaign debts was her own bank account. She paid herself first after she lent her campaign $15,000,000.

Gee, how many people gave money to Hillary believing it would go to her campaign instead of her wallet? Maybe some want their money back? ;)

Ah, a new talking point: The Democrats are hurting for money. :worship:

Oh yeah, they're ready to hand out the tin cups. :lmao:

Did you learn the art of numbers from our friends on the other side of the political aisle? How very convenient to pick 1 set of comparison numbers out of 4 sets which just happen to be the ones that supported your point.

However, the other sets of numbers blow your hypothesis right out of the saddle. For anyone who is interested, here are the numbers as of May 12,2008:

Poor Hillary: Not only is she losing, it appears the Democratic party isn't hurting because of it.

Play nice everyone. Maybe you should focus your frustrations somewhere else for right now. It's not getting you anywhere.

I sometimes wonder why they are so frustrated if their guy is supposedly winning?

I focus my attention on whoever is trying to pass off ******** as fact be they rightwing, leftwing, or middle of the bird.

Hey, whattayanno, you're right.

Why am I hanging out with the losers. :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Really? Your fellow Democrats are losers? Are you sure Obama supporters want to play it that way?

Because if you are going to be that dismissive of our vote then yes, I not only will NOT vote for Obama, I will actively go out and campaign for McCain. And don't for one second think New York will go Blue that easily in November. NYC has a strong history of electing Republican mayors (that we really like) and we are a large part of the voting block of this state.

Your post reminds me of Bush's advocates who thought ALL Deomcrates were crazy becaue we didn't like thier man. Let's be careful here and not alienate more people than necessary.

By all means, vote for McCain if that's what you want to do.

Btw, if you think NY will go Red, there is indeed a bridge in Brooklyn for sale. NY will go red if Hillary isn't there? ........... Dream on.

Frankly, I don't give a damn if you like Obama or not. You vote your own self-interest. And if you vote against your self-interest as a protest vote, get in touch with a few of the Nadar supporters in Florida. They also thought they would "show us". If you want to go down in history as one of them, be my guest. No one can stop you.

Just don't cry when it bites you in the butt like the last 8 years of Bush have done. Thousands voted for Nadar in Florida. This mess is on their heads.

...and the rest of the state is solidly republican or solidly pro Hillary. I didn't really think about it before but I wonder if NY would go republican in Nov if Obama wins.
