Hillary Supporters unite part 2; no bashing please

I'd agree if they were stating it the way you are. But what I'm reading is not comments about the Conservatives hypocrisy in backing an inexperieced VP.

What I'm reading is comments such as "It's scary to have someone so inexperienced so close to the presidency" Or "it worries me that she has no qualifications to be VP". This coming from people who have no problen with inexperience or qualifications for the persidential candidate. People who in fact have said that Obama's inexperience is an asset.

The OS have always been great at that. They are all over these boards laughing at MCcains pick and insulting her...just as they did about Hillary.

But there is more to Obama than just his experience...it is also the man's past that still ways hard on me. Is he saying what he is saying to just get elected like all Politicians do. Also how he ran his campaign stating how he was not a typical politician but everything he did did not ring that way.

Obama best be careful about shooting experience at his VP because she is just the VP..he has no experience and he wants to be POTUS..to much of that he may shoot himself in the foot....however the lack of the experience of McCains VP does concern me.

Doesn't anyone find funny how many OS are all over the place expressing horror at Palin's inexperience? How can they post such stuff with a straight face?

What exactly is so hard to understand? We OS have never had an issue with voting for the less experienced candidate. It was Sen. McCain and his supporters who made a big deal out of it, not the Obama camp. By choosing an even less experienced candidate than Obama as the person he feels is somehow experienced enough to be a heartbeat away from the presidency, it doesn't take a whole lot to see that the McCain camp has shot themselves in the foot on this one. Plain and simple, it's a hail Mary in the hopes that there are enough HS who are just POed enough to vote for him simply because he's installed a woman on his ticket. It's pandering in the highest degree...

It is all McCain/Palin in the news! NO OBAMA! Love it

I have been researching on Palin. She seems OK, I don't agree with her some issues, but honestly I did not agree with even Hillary 100% of the time, most of the time, but not 100% of it.

I was just hoping McCain did not pick Romney. He makes me a little nervous and wasn't sure I could vote for a McCain/Romney ticket.

Now unless I find something really damaging McCain/Palin will get my vote in November

Laugh, I completely understand what you are saying. But like I previously posted, the comments I find funny read nothing like yours (which is a good argument)

The comments I find ridiculous are those saying that it frigthens them to have someone so inexperienced so close to the presidency. Those comments seemed to me to have been written in all seriousness, without a hint of sarcasm.

No one who considers age, experence, and a long resume a must; no one who feels safer with someone having all three characteristics and would fear having someone lacking in any of them in the WH would support Obama.

For those familiar with it, the Alaskan poitical landscape is full of the bodies of opponents of Palin who walked into debates with her assuming she was an inexperienced lightwieght. So I'm actually looking forward to the image of an attractive young (and gun-carrying) mother up on the stage against a gray-haired, 40-year Washington insider - who has the reputation of quickly getting nasty (which will come off real well, just like when Lazio did when he was rude to Hillary in debates with her back in 2000).

I'm sure looking forward to those debates. Right now I'm thinking Biden will eat her alive, but, who knows?

They could have just ignored the whole thing or they could have endorsed Obama without the rousing speeches. Bill in particular went all out.

I wanted to comment on this

I've hear and read from some people who have worked in losing campaigns (for the Senate, govenor, etc but not presidential)

They said that the pain and depression after losing is immense, and sometimes it takes years to really go away. This makes what Bill, and esp Hillary did even more amazing and meaningful

I admire and respect them now more than ever.

That could be very true. But I dont find Biden that impressive either. He dropped out of the election with only 9,000 votes. Not many DEMS found him worthy at all or even knew who the heck Biden was. But of course since Obama picked him he is know like the best VP pick ever and it's like we all knew of him forever.

Biden also said that what the heck i will give it one more chance to run for POTUS and if I dont win than I will retire....so that is where his mind set was at.

As for McCain's choice we will for sure be learning who she is jut as we did Biden. We will see what she is made of and see if she is VP material.

I still feel the same way about Obama and as for McCain goes I am still undecided with him also.

I am glad it was not Romney..although he does have nice hair

I hate Cafferty he is soooooooooo for Obama that his judgement is full of hate except for when it comes to Obama. He has a bad habit of reading only the blogs that have to do great with Obama and bad for all the other candidates.
