I don't even see how that should be an issue when deciding who to vote for but....I think you are forgetting Hillary complaining that "the boys were ganging up on her" during a debate in Philadelphia - or complaining she always got the questions fielded first.

If you think Obama was the only one complaining, perhaps you should look at it a bit more subjectively.

Yep - I will agree - Hillary has complained about the debates too. But at least she hasn't refused to do them.

Not voting for Obama is voting for McCain.

So, what is the long-term strategy for a Hillary win anyway? So far all she has done is praise McCain and attack Obama. What happens if she gets the nomination? Tell people, you can voter for either one of us, at least we're not Obama? Have you seen how McCain keeps creeping up in the approval ratings. Hillary's are much lower than McCain's, how is how is she going to get around that?

Do you think she can suddenly start to attack McCain after her previous praising and that will go over well with voters? It would make her look insincere.

And she will have to attack McCain to win eventually.

Or cannot Hillary voters see past the primary?

I can see pass the primaries. I know I have said many times if Hillary wins the nom it WILL be an uphill battle to beat McCain. I never, ever said she will waltz in and take the general election. It will be a fight.

But it is a fight I think she can handle and is ready for it. I won't say she will win it, but she is ready for the battle to the White House.

Is Obama ready for that same fight? Because any way you cut it Obama will be in a battle to beat McCain also. He is really ready for the kitchen sink and everything else to be thrown at him?

Sure complain and moan you didn't like what was said or how you were treated but then get right back in there and show people what you are made of.

To me Obama did what a couple of 8 year old would do. They are playing together and one says something the other didn't like and then the one gets up and says "I'm not going to be your friend anymore"

Maybe not the best example but the only one I can come up with.

Well Obama had agreed to a debate in NC, but Clinton didn't, then Clinton agreed and Obama didn't; so it was scrapped last week.

But honestly, after 23 or so debates, do we need another one? I think after the last debate about flag lapel pins, Wright, and bittergate, it seems the debates aren't about the issues anymore that really matter to this country. I'm glad to see they aren't having another.

Frankly, we've had nearly 20 debates and I really can't see any reason to have more-I didn't even bother watching the last one because there's really nothing new we can learn about either of them at this point.

I've had my foot firmly planted on both sides of this fence all along. I'm not happy with Hillary's campaign style, but I've seen it before and I know that she does not govern like she campaigns. I've also never seen anything in Obama other than a politician. He is a fresh face, and not as jaded as the others, but he's still a politician. They both have their failings and faults-but at their core-they are both committed to things that matter to me like health care, ending the war in Iraq and helping Americans who aren't in the top 1% of the income bracket.

good reading today...thanks for the most part keeping it civil. As for Obama or Hillary there will be independents coming out and paying with there own moneys to swift boat Obama ...Hillary and McCain. You can bet on that.

Have not seen one general that was not been dirty and don't think Obama at this time is going to keep his word as to a clean campaign because he will be eaten alive if he does. I say they need to play smart and hard and not dirty but that wont happen. They are fighting for the Hardest JOB in America and will not go down easy.

Many and I mean many of Obamas young supporters will scream about it at least the ones until this election that have never followed politics before unfair. But the ones that have seen what can and does happen during a general will expect it. Does not make it right but that is how the game is played.

and the last one standing will be our next POTUS. I don't think Wade vs ROE will be overturned but McCain does have be concerned most over the war. If he becomes POTUS I don't see us any worse off but do see us a little better than Bush...heck anyone is better than Bush I just wish he would change his mind about the war, that has me very concerned.

McCain is at least more Moderate. That is a plus. I do not agree with his policies but again anyone is better than BUSH...At least we will have either Hillary or Obama in senate and that is a plus. Don't take this as a "I want McCain" and twist my words because that is not it at all

The best plan we could have going into the General is a Hillary/Obama or Obama /Hillary ticket and I wont be surprised if the party works real hard for them to do that.

Nothing wrong with saying that he is a good man and has served our country well and is a Hero and would make a good POTUS but I would be better.

If people are choosing the POTUS based on who has better experience to be a CIC, McCain wins.

If Hillary goes negative and McCain does not, Hillary will look like an evil shrew and will lose.

People like McCain better than Hillary, the polls all say that. She will have to attack to win and if she attacks she will not win. For one thing, it will make her look dishonest after praising him during the primary. That won't help her in the character issue, will it?

And McCain has said he will not go negative, its unlikely he will change that or it will be thrown up in his face.

Side note-I really was upset to hear that 7/10 Hillary voters in PA said race was a factor in their selection. Everyone has a right to the candidate of their choice, of course-but it makes me sad that in 2008 race is still a factor. I don't know if they asked Obama voters if gender was a factor-I'd be interested in those results.

That's not what some of you are saying. Some of you had said the SC is a non-issue. I agree if someone thinks that HIllary or Obama is the anti-christ they should not vote for them. But to say the SC does not matter is to be disengenious about what a Republican win can mean.

As for it going negative, McCain has already taken a stand on that. He might go back on it, but that would not be very smart of him.
