Hey guys, I just got home from the caucus. It was insane! I'm glad that I only live in the suburbs... if I lived in Dallas or Houston I'd be there all night. Soooo many people showed up and they weren't expecting the turn out they had. The guy in charge of my precinct said that they had a caucus in 2004 and only 15 people came. Tonight there were probably at least 2-300, and again, Im just off in the suburbs of the suburbs and that location only held a few precincts .. who knows how many has showed up in the larger cities.
The only thing it seemed that mainly Obama supporters were there on my sign-in sheet (you have to write down which candidate you are for) I was the only Clinton listed.
As Ohio goes....so goes the nation!!!!!
No President since 1964 has won the WH without winning Ohio!![]()

I am so proud for her and her supporters!!!!!!!
You can't convince me that the whole Texas caucus thing is legit. I don't get why Texans have to or want to vote twice!![]()
Can someone get me the history of why Texas invented its system?

I still think if she wins the popular vote in Texas and loses the caucus it's a good thing to go to the superdelagates and make her case. That along with the 250,000 voters in the washington caucus where he wins 2-1 and gets a huge amount of the delegates (53 to 25) vs. the Washington primary that didn't count a few weeks later with 700,000 voters that he wins by 6% where the difference in delegates would be a handful.
And another article explaining the "screwy" Texas system, if you don't want to listen to the NPR story:
