This is so true it's breaking my heart. I haven't gotten one thing from Hillary in the mail. This week I've gotten mailings from Obama twice (and several phone calls too). The last one had a reminder that I needed to not only vote in the primary, but show up for the caucus. It ever so helpfully provided the address and time for the caucus. I kinda want to email him and thank him and tell him I'm still not voting for him

It may be that Clinton is focusing more on Ohio than Texas? I don't know, just guessing.

OK.. this 'Obama didn't vote for the war' thing is ticking me off royally!
First off, wasn’t 2004 when Obama was elected into the senate and our US senate voted to go to war in 2002 or am I way off here? If that’s the case – of course he didn’t vote to go to war – he wasn’t in a political position to do so.

Second, let’s go back in time to 2002, not long after 9/11, and in hindsight we now know that the Bush Administration was full of <insert word of your choice here> for its reasons to go to war … but that’s in hindsight. The war, for the most part, was a very popular decision when it first began. Saddam was harboring Al Qaeda… Saddam had tons of weapons of mass destruction… Saddam was a serious threat to the US… everyone bought the Bush Administration lies. Shoot, at the church I attended one Sunday they paraded the US flag and played the Star Spangle Banner – everyone was all pro-war. (in general) Had Hillary not voted to go to war, when Bush presented what looked to be a justifiable reason to do so to the senate, then she, especially being the Senator of New York – the state that suffered the most from the 9/11 attacks, would have not been looked upon favorably for doing so.

So, what am I not understanding? What out of that do I have wrong that has so many people upset that Hillary voted to go to war when in 2002 it looked as if we had cause to go to war? Why is Obama so proud that he didn’t vote to go to war when he wasn’t even in the senate to vote on it?

He is like that guy at work (every office has one) who comes in AFTER the fact and immeadiately tells everybody what is wrong, without fully looking at the BIG Picture. And never has a solution to the problem.

IF Obama was a US senator in 2002, and IF it was the Sears Tower that got hit on 9/11, and IF that is what his constituients wanted him to do...Obama would have voted for the War.

To me this proves what a load he is....Should a US Senator vote for WHAT their voters want??? This issue is a BIG RED FLAG for me. Not to mentioned that since he has been US Senator (outside the 40% of the votes he missed ) he has voted for the War funding EVERY SINGLE TIME! So if he was so against the war, why vote for a fund increase?

I wonder how many Anti War Protest he attended? NONE!

People forget that the WTC and all the lives ruined 9/11 were mostly Hillaries constituents!

Does she have your email address! I am in PA and get about 3 emails a day from her....of course they are all for $. But I hear from her more than my friends.
But sadly, when I hear from my friends...they too are looking for $!

Clinton: Obama 'missing in action'

WACO, Texas (CNN) — Hillary Clinton attempted to raise the stakes of the upcoming March 4 primaries Friday by forcefully calling into question Barack Obama's qualifications to become commander-in-chief.

At a rally in Waco, with more than two dozen military veterans and flag officers standing behind her, Clinton criticized Obama for being "missing in action" during key security decisions in the Senate and claimed that he had "no responsibility" when he gave an anti-war speech in 2002 as an Illinois state senator.

Her comments coincided with a new campaign ad released in Texas that asks voters who they want to answer the phone in the White House at 3 a.m. when "there's something happening in the world."

Obama criticized the ad earlier Friday, saying it was an attempt to "scare up votes."

Clinton disputed that notion in her speech Friday, saying, "Well I don't think people in Texas scare all that easily."

In a salvo against Obama that lasted several minutes, Clinton said, "There's a big difference between giving a speech at anti war rally as a state senator and dealing with an international crisis as president."

"There's a difference between giving a speech when you have no responsibility," she argued, "and having to step up and take charge and take the responsibility for your actions."

She charged that Obama was "missing in action" when he missed a Senate vote last year on a nonbinding resolution in that labeled the Iranian Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization (Clinton voted for the measure and faced heat from Obama and other Democratic rivals for supporting a measure pushed by the Bush administration.)

She also said Obama was "missing in action" by failing in his chairmanship of a Senate subcommittee on Europe to hold a hearing on NATO's presence in Afghanistan, a fact she has emphasized in recent days on the campaign trail.

Gen. Wesley Clark, a Clinton supporter and the former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, plugged the TV ad while introducing Clinton on stage and suggested that her tenure as First Lady prepared her to be president.

"She's been in the White House when the tough decisions were made," Clark said, looking over to Clinton. "I guess you've been at the bedside when that phone rang at 3 a.m. in the morning."

Clinton was joined at the event by three generals, including Clark, and a Navy Rear Admiral.

Do you remember the school drills for an atomic bomb attack...they were to hide under your desk When I look back at that time and being so young and not fully understanding what was up with the WOMD only knowing that we could die if it went off and even friends of ours had bomb shelters...my dad said if a bomb goes off there will be nothing that can save us so no need to waist the money. To look back at that time it was pretty scary.

Just heard on CNN that Obama realeased the SAME commercial..only with the ending.."When the person who answers the phone should be someone who didnt vote for the war"....or something like that.

It pisses me off when all the media is talking about Hillary doing it again this time using scare tactics and than there's Obama's commercial that is pretty close to identical yet it is okay for him and kudos to his campaign for thinking so fast and getting it out there

We were talking about the debates @ work. The topic came up that during the last few debates, when Hillary was asked any question first, and answered.....Baracks answer was always "I agree with Hillary"

This did happen a few times in each debate. Has anyone else noticed this.

No just that but after he would say that and agree with her he would play off that and say "Look" and than go on to adding to it. Using what she says for himself than making him look better at timed by doing that.

The rep are asking why is he not being called on all this stuff and they say because if they do they will be called running a campaign with bad tactics...and than they add that's Hillary's job and McCain at this point wont do it. Same here I give every week $25.00 - $50.00. Obama made sure to announce that he had made more money and also that he hit a million donors more than any candidate ever.

Well he has been asking for money since way back when and Hillary basically just started getting donations when she was lending money to her candidacy. Like many others we figures she had plenty of $$$$ when in reality she had none. Again bad campaigning. She should have been smarter about that but she and everyone else thought she was going to get the nod so why plan beyond super Tuesday.

I also want to add about the donations that it has been said on the media that Hillary's supporters are making much smaller donations of less than $100 more around $25.00...yet Obama's lowest is around $125.00 per donation.

Remember he has supporters that are in higher incomes than Hillary so they say that is why. Also that he does better in the caucuses because Hillary's supporters cant get out of work as easy and also many are elderly....and so on...just thought I would add that

So if Obama ends up winning the nomination, how many of you will support him? I just ask because there seems to be quite an anti-Obama attitude here whereas some Democrats say they don’t really care which one wins.
