I guess you would call me high maintenance, but I really don't see how that affects anyone around me.
I only buy my makeup at Sephora (brands like Clinique, Stilla, Urban Decay, Lorac, etc), my favorite department store is Bloomingdales. I'll spend $120 dollars on a pair of jeans.
I'm obsessed with Burberry. I own way too much of it, lol. I love the brand. My handbags are Burberry, Fendi, Coach, Christain Dior, and Gucci.
At home I get a manicure and pedicure in the summer once a week. I get my hair cut and colored at a salon, and I get my eyebrows waxed.
The majority of the people in my town are like this. It never really crossed my mind that all this was abnormal until I got to college.
And for those who are wondering, no, my parents didn't buy me all of my designer things. I had a job where I worked on commission and made a good amount for a teenager. The only time I got a bag from my parents would be for my birthday or Christmas, and even then I only had about three presents because I wanted more expensive things.
Perhaps I am high maintenance, but I don't expect other people to act the way I do. Some of my friends are like me, some aren't at all. I don't judge people by what they wear, and I don't expect my boyfriend or other people to buy things for me. I guess I'm high maintanance, but at my own expense.
I get judged alot by what I wear and the things I buy. The first semester of college was interesting, to say the least. It took awhile to convince people that I wasn't some snob.
