High Capacity Washer/Dryer Recommendations

Thanks everyone for your replies. You've given us a lot to think about. We definitely like top loaders versus front loaders. And I don't want/need all the fancy cycles and gadgets that will just break. We want to be able to wash and dry in the unit so we can put the linens away. We don't want to store them at our house or have cleaners take them home.

I did call a few launderers, and it doesn't seem to be cost effective for as often as we have to clean. I'll look into many of these options, and I truly appreciate the feedback.

We had to replace our LG high capacity top loader before it was 4 years old. Hated it. There was no quick cycle, clothes were forever needing to be adjusted in the machine. We happily replaced it with a speed queen. Quick cycles, clothes much cleaner. The LG drier though is fine.

You don't need a special product for this.

I'm assuming my front-load washer is like most others; it has a special cycle called "Cleaning", and the manual says you're to run it once a month ... with a cup of bleach.

I have a service contract with the washer and dryer and they always leave enough samples to last until the next year's check up,

We have a Samsung HE top loader and we love it. It is huge. We can wash or King Comforter in it with no problem.
