Port of Entry resembles an ancient marketplace. I can only specifically recall a Venice and Timbuktu influence, but there are many more. The lighthouse was inspired by the Pharos lighthouse in Egypt (one of the 7 wonders of the world).

This area is so well done! You really get a mystical feeling listening to the music, absorbing the sights and allowing yourself to be transported to a time long ago.
