We went to see the Disneyland Rose Parade Float being staged in the early (read, 3am) of New Years Day. It had a representation of Elsa's castle on it, and a girl in a security guard outfit came walking by blasting Let It Go on her phone and singing her heart out. It was just so much fun.

On that note:
Happy New Year Everyone....!

I didn't get a chance to post much, as out holidays were full of friends and family and food and general good times.
I hope you all had a great holiday (or not holiday) season...! It's been cold here (for us, anyhow) in California and we're expecting El Nino to begin in earnest on Monday. Looks like 7 straight days of rain to begin the week....
it wouldn't be so bad (I actually love the rain) if people here knew how to drive in it (SLOW DOWN!!).

Just listened to Pete's Solo show and I realized that this week marks the end of our winter hiatus which makes me pretty gosh darn excited.

How fun! When I went to Disneyland, I was singing my heart out at World of Color with a cast member. Great memories! I also realized the shows are coming back this week!

That's cool you got to see them getting the float ready! I just find them all very impressive, but the Disney one especially so!

I wound up taking video of the Disney performance from the parade (you can see it below if interested, my son also gives "great" commentary). I posted this to my Facebook feed and it was neat how many of my friends that aren't into Disney (I know, some people are strange) commented how much they enjoyed it!
