Hi ya :),
Well we got back Saturday morning, after a fantastic 16nights in Florida .
It all seemed rather surreal,we just could'nt believe that we were actually there for the first few days :confused3.
Even though it was Easter/Spring Break,it was'nt as busy as i thought it was going to be,our busiest day was April 9th in MK,it was heaving and the wait times were really bad,Peter Pan 100mins,Winnie 90mins,Dumbo 80mins :scared1:.Also a pretty packed day in DHS,can't remember the date now,but wait times for Tower Of Terror hit 120mins,Toy Story Mania 140,Rock'n'Roller Coaster 110mins :scared1:.
Fastpasses for TSM were gone by 11ish in the morning .
The queues for fastpasses were just as long as the standby queues .
Apart from those days mentioned, the longest we queued for any ride at Disney or Uni/IOA was 30mins :thumbsup2.

I will be doing a trip report, but will wait until i order+receive our photopass pics before i start.(we have'nt even looked at them yet-but i know we got so many-a little tip-if you pre-pay before you go make sure you tell EVERY photopass photographer that you have done so,they take so many more pics for you,i was told this by a photographer :thumbsup2.).
A few highs and lows for you,and if you have any questions-ask away :goodvibes................

HIGHS------There were so many, but this is just a few............
Our hotel was gorgeous, and would love to stay there again-Hilton Embassy Suites, the things they done for us+Chloe were wonderful(will explain in trippie).

Suprising Chloe with her breakfast with the Princess's in the Castle for her birthday,it brought tears to my eyes-a truly amazing day :wizard:.

Suprising Emily with breakfast with Lilo+Stitch, also brought tears to my eyes :cutie:.

Watching both girls faces as we see the Castle, especially Emily's seeing the castle for the first time .

Our character breakfasts were a first for us and were fantastic, great interaction :thumbsup2.

Returning home with almost $700,to go towards the next trip's spending money :cool1:.

Toy Story Mania was fantastic :cool1:.

The weather was perfect, just right for us(although too hot for Emily).

Our meeting+meal at TRex with David(wickesy)+his Dad Ray,a fantastic time-we really enjoyed ouselves.

LOWS............Not too many :thumbsup2...........
A terrible meal+service in Houlihans on I-Drive.

Terrible service on one occasion in Friendly's on I-Drive.

Emily falling+skidding along the floor a few days before we come home, cut knee, elbow, finger, scraped her nose along the ground and bit the inside of her mouth.

Chloe falling a few days into the holiday, and gashed her knee quite badly.

Emily not being able to tolerate the heat+walking so much, made her slightly grumpy come the afternoon, but she refused a buggy :cutie:.

Still not seeing a theme park at night, fireworks etc..:sad1:

Terrible turbulent flight out,Chloe was very ill/sick on the descent, and she had to cope on her own as we had our seatbelts on+was'nt allowed to get to her :sad2:.

2 bad days of torrential rain, storms and hail stones.(but we still went to the parks :thumbsup2).

Queuing to see Tinkerbell+friends for 75mins :scared1:,only to be rushed in+out again in under 5mins,hardly any time to take pictures :sad2:.

All in all a fantastic holiday, and having those extra days was so much better,we are hoping to book this Christmas for April 2011 .
We was going to go for our 10th wedding anniversary in August 2011,but decided against August because of the heat and Emily not coping well with it.

May i also take this oppurtunity to say a big thank you from Chloe+myself to Kerry(the fetherstons)+family for Chloe's HSM hoody-she loves it.
And also a big thank you to David+Ray for Chloe's birthday money, and the gifts for Emily+myself.x.x.x.x.x.

Welcome home! It sounds like you all had a fab time, looking forward to reading your trippie and seeing some piccies:goodvibes

There you are. I was beginning to think you had deserted us, especially after I read how crowded things had got after we left Orlando.

Have only skim read as I am at work (naughty!) but it looks like you had a good time.

Welcome Home!!

welcome home Michelle, sounds like you had a fantastic time out there!! have to agree about going in august- it is far too hot for me to go then too, i much prefer sept/oct!! some people like the heat and humidity but i find it absolutely draining. can't wait to hear more about your hols and see the photos :)

Welcome back Michelle :grouphug: Glad to hear your trip was mostly full of highs, sorry to hear about the girls' injuries though  Looking forward to your TR :goodvibes

Welcome Back :thumbsup2
Sounds like a great trip and the highs out numbered the lows

So very, very pleased you all had a fantastic time and looking forward to reading about it.

I wouldn't worry about missing night time fireworks as these can be done when the kids are older. I personally hate MK on a night when the fireworks are on as the place is so packed and you have difficulty walking anywhere never mind hanging on to little hands. I don't think your little ones would have enjoyed the crush. However, they are fantastic fireworks and are well worth seeing but you will enjoy it much more when you don't have to worry about the kiddies as much. There also can be a huge wait for ferries, trains and buses (took us an hour and a half one night just to reach the car park). Epcot is much easier to do though.

Thanks for that tip about photopass photographers.:)

The hotel sounds lovely, I will make a note of it for future trips.

Just me+Tony have been in August before for our belated honeymoon-and it was terrible,i have asthma and could hardly breath some days with the humidity. We were considering August 2011 and is meant we could have gone for 3 weeks, but 16nghts in April 2011 and a happy child(and breathable Mummy will be much better ).x.

Welcome back Michelle :grouphug: Glad to hear your trip was mostly full of highs, sorry to hear about the girls' injuries though  Looking forward to your TR :goodvibes

I have heard how frightning the crowds can be for fireworks-so it was'nt a bad thing that we never got to go.Plus from our hotel room at 10pm on the dot i was looking out the window watching them every night-not the same but better than nothing :thumbsup2.

I was watching others have pictures taken, and they were like snapping like 3-4 pics. But when i mentioned that i had pre-paid,they would'nt stop snapping away-one photographer took 13 of us+the girls,by the side of the Rose Garden in MK :thumbsup2.Can't wait to see them,we have'nt looked yet-will hopefully be soughting them out the weekend.x.

it's a great excuse to go keep going back :)
Thanks-my comment exactly.x.

I also got the watch for you that you wanted, they only do a black strap-it's a beautiful watch.x.

Thanks Sarah,TRex was fantastic and not as noisy as i was expecting,Emily was'nt scared one bit+she does'nt like noise-might be because we was'nt in the main hub of the building-we were near the entrance under the Wooly Mammoths, our food was lovely.
The Build-A-Dino was fantastic-have lots of pics to show, both the girls got a dino+lots of clothes+acessories-the total was $216 :scared1:,and we even went back another day and they spent about $45 each of there own money on more clothes. Those dino's are better dressed than me :rotfl2:.x.

And also a big thank you to David+Ray for Chloe's birthday money, and the gifts for Emily+myself.x.x.x.x.x.

You are all very welcome. Did Chloe keep a note for her scrapbook?

Looking forward to seeing the pics (1,800 ) and reading the trip report. :thumbsup2
