Hi!!! Planning our trip!!!!!!!

Hi to all!! I am a mom to 4 girls and am now planning our trip to Disney for the FIRST time ever!! This will be everyone's first time including myself and hubby so we are all excited. Well the kids are not yet cause they don't know!! It will be in late Sept./early October of 2010! We live in CO and will be driving the whole way to FL!! The drive is not what scares me as we have been a traveling family since the twins were infants and they are great travelers! My only thing is when we get there. There is SOOOOOOOOOO much to learn and research. I have no clue whatsoever. So I look forward to learning from the rest of you and getting as many tips and tricks as I can! Woohoo only 8.5 more months...AAAAK

Congratulations on Booking, your going not too long after us. You don't have very long to plan, time will fly by !!!

This is my third time going to WDW, I went when I was 12 years old in 98, then returned with my DGF in 2007 and we are now going next sept, So we are starting the same process as you, doing research and planning, it is so much fun!!!!

I have learnt allot from these boards. But the main thing I would advise is don't stress and enjoy the research we do, This time it has become part of the holiday for us, even setting up our account on here,was something we were looking forward too.

The way we get the ball rolling is to take a look around the restaurant and the parks to decide where will be best to eat for that specific day, so your not trecking all over WDW (It dosent matter so much for us as there will be 6 adults).

Ask as many questions that you can think of to put your mind at ease and when it all gets a bit to much, just browse around here for some Pictures and Trip reports. Imagine breakfast in main street bakery or eating an ice cream in epcot

Your trip will be great, I'm sure.

Welcome to the Dis Boards and Congrats on your trip. We are planning our 6th trip in Sept.2010 and can't wait. We booked while we were still there this past Sept.

I would like to share some advice with you. Disney is such a big place and can feel overwhelming. You will not be able to do and see everything the first time. I would make sure you research with your family what you want to do and see. Have a plan and remember what you don't see is a reason to go back.

I agree the boards is a great place to learn stuff. Even though I have been there 5 times I am always learning new tips. It has helped us tremendously.
