We are having a garlic and herb pork roast which I should be putting in the oven about now.
Still sick here That's why I haven't been very chatty...sorry
Despite being on azithromycin for 24 hours and putting 800 mg of Advil in my system at 2 pm, I still have a fever of 100.2. Sinus drainage is looking better but now my throat is very sore...thinking I ended up with a mixed bag illness here
If this does not clear up by tomorrow, I will be back at my pcp's office....I have now had a fever off and on since Monday

I am having my mothers meat pie made of: pork, onion, mixed in mash potatoes in a pie crust.....yummy but I am going to have to figure out how to make it myself sometime.... now pork and saurkraut I can do, made with beer and brown sugar....yummy too

Yup yup we had our pork too - a real nice pork tenderloin it was FABULOUS!! We haven't made sauerkraut in years - I don't like it, my aunt don't like it, and it makes my mom's acid reflux act up. So they had mashed potatoes tonight while I made up some couscous!!

kind of like this one only he doesn't use bacon/fat back and they get fried in brown butter. he serves them with Pork & Kraut and makes them twice a year. Once for a crowd on NY's day and once for his immidiate family at a time during the year that he won't tell me about.
I went looking for the correct spelling and found a couple of recipes so I might try making them myself.
We had pork, kraut, mashed potatoes, succotash, and the famous haluskis. He had about 30 family members over. It has become a family tradition and all of us look forward to it every year.

Yes definitely do the pork and sauerkraut too. This year went to my church for $7.00 with my parents, aunts and MIL. Good food, no cleanup, even better. We then went down to Delaware Park DH and myself both hit on the machines. He hit for 180 and I hit for 170. We haven't been lucky ever. It was nice and a great way to start the New Year. Hope everyone had good holidays. Teri I hope everyone is doing better and you sure do need the vacation. Take care.

I'm bummed I've been off from work since 12/23. All good things must come to an end.....I go back on Monday! I do not want to!!!! Terri, maybe I should contact those Hollywood agents!!!

Hi all, I hope everyones New Year was great. We ended up not going out to dinner on new years eve, we just stayed at my Dsis's house and she cooked. My mom (yeah) came home from the hospital so we did not want to go out because we knew it would be to much on her. It all worked out. New years day my Dsis made pork and kraut. I bought she cooked. I over bought and we ended up with 2 full crockpots full for only 6 adults and 3 kids. Lots of leftovers to take home and enjoy.
Did anyone know there was a room only code out there that expires on 1/4? I am going to see what I can get in the morning. I am also hearing about a pin that came out for AP holders for 40 Percent off rooms. I hope I can get something decent. We are going to go the 2/26-3/5 or 6. We'll see how it works out. I need so some decent flights. Wish me luck. Terri

I am SO LOVING that school started back up today! I'm off work & here in my jammies with my coffee watching The Waltons on Hallmark. BLISS.

Not sure when, I'd like to do it when DH has the boys away from the house for wrestling - they think we're all a bunch of Disney goofballs! Maybe a Sunday at lunch? Brunch? I know when the wrestling tournaments start up they're out of the house from about 8am-4pm.

I can't remember the name. It was MVMCP free cookies & hot chocolate station behind the Plaza Restaurant on the way to Tomorrowland. That was a long explanation for something I don't know!!

OMG I thought that's where it was! The Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace or Station or something like that! I just commented on another thread yesterday or today that in 10 trips to WDW I have NEVER seen that place open!
