Ok the Eagles won - my DS11 bet me that they would win & I said no....so he won, he now gets to dye his hair green...and I have to make chocolate chip cookies with green sugar on them tonight! Anyone know where to get kid-friendly green hair dye? He doesn't want the spray on kind - he wants the real thing!

Now that's funny!! You can't really back out of this one. Did you find the dye? How did he like it? You'll have to post a picture!

Linda - are you & TiggerFan able to go to the picnic the day before your WDW trip? If not, like Antss mentioned, and you want to come, maybe we should move the date ahead into April??

I know it's last minute but there's a chance my guys will all be out of the house for a wrestling tournament this coming Saturday, January 25th...local DIS Meet anyone? I'll know more for sure during the week.

Ridley Creek Park is right next to where DH used to work in Eddystone, so he knows how to get there (thank goodness, because I hate driving in busy areas like the Philly suburbs).

You are correct - next Saturday is the 24th not the 25th! I'm so distraught that I have NO dates for Disney for 2009 that my mind is foggy!

Oh you have no idea! DH has his annual conference in Orlando again this May - BUT it's over Mothers Day - that is a mandatory work day for me, and our store's inventory is the 2 days following Mothers Day - also mandatory work days. I know it's just a PT job and I'm there for fun, but I really do love it, and I love the people I work with & respect them enough not to throw a hissy fit to have those days off. It would come down to having to quit a job I love just to go to Disney. Hmmmm....would be a no brainer for most (quit the job!) but I just can't do it.

I also have PrincessAlways & TiggerFan4Me's dates in the back of my head - if there's any way I could convince DH (and my kids - my poor kids haven't gone on the last TWO Disney trips I took!) that I could slip away for 4 days, I'd do it.

There's also the fact that in 2006 I took just DS8. In 2002 I took just DS11 - so technically it's DS11's turn to go alone with mom. DS8 would be absolutely devastated & the guilt would kill me if I went alone with DS11....now if I can convince DS8 to stay home with daddy then I'm SO there, probably November after football ends (God forbid an 11-yr old miss football playoffs!) But that is on the back burner. FAR back on the back burner!

We could go as a family of 4. That is my last resort - DH is not a Disney person & makes us all miserable. Enough said.

I could take both boys alone. Not sure I want too. They are complete opposites, do not get along most of the time - plus DS11 is big enough to go on the thrill rides, but not old enough to ride alone - DS8 hates thrill rides pus isn't tall enough - but isn't old enough to wait alone if I ride with DS11....oh the complications! Plus DS11 gets motion sick on everything, I don't want that to put a damper on DS8. If I have to take DS11 back to the room every day, that's not fair to DS8.

If that's not bad enough I have 3 days left on a non-expiring ticket for me, enough Starwood points for 2 free nights at The Dolphin, and plenty of frequent flier miles that the family could fly free...

Can you tell I've had a LOT of coffee today?!?!

Perhaps it might be a bit much to do the picnic the day before we leave and the temperatures could still be very cold. Don't want to ruin the plans for everyone else though. What is this with snow on Sunday's, it is getting old. Talked to DS the other night and temps in Florida at night have been down to 38, so not that much warmer there. I had asked him to send up some warmth and that is when he told me the temps down there. Tara I hope you can get a game plan to go the DW. It sure sounds complicated, and is tough to make choices when the kids are so young. I know you will come up with something.

I'm glad I'm not alone!!! My DH is the same way! He's been there ONE time...when my sons were little....my youngest is 25! He liked it, but cannot understand my "enthusiasm" for going back & back & back!!! He has no desire to return. What can you say?? At least he doesn't mind that I go.

Yep, you most definitely need to get back sometime this year with someone or by yourself! DH likes WDW, but wants to vacation somewhere else before we go back . Meanwhile, DS asks at least once a week to go back (he has apparently inherited the Disney gene ).
