Hi Tara!!! I FINALLY got my pictures. I'll try to get them on the boards either tonight or tomorrow night! With the Holidays, just no time to get everything done. I'd like to put most of the pics on the boards as a "pics report". They turned out great! I'm ready to go back!! Anybody else?

tara, since my son is a Disney employee he gets the discounts for booking hotels for us. Employees have so many rooms alloted per week that they can book from. Unfortunately, both AKL and CS were booked from the employee standpoint, so they are staying at Port Orleans. We stayed there already and liked it. He might check to see if they could switch hotels in a week or so, but my folks are happy with the price he got for them and the hotel. So, thanks for your help and input and we can keep it in mind for the next time we get to go on vacation. I saw Princess Always Disney pictures today and now can put a face to you and Fern. Enjoy your day.

Thanks!! I think I finally figured out all the cool little settings on my camera!! It's a Sony Cyber-shot. Of course, I've only had it for a year now!! I even took pics on the rides where "no flash photography" is allowed because .... it has a "no flash" setting!! It's the little things in life, ya know??

Linda were you drinking last night?? (Dulicate post....duplicate post....) LOL!!! Thanks for posting the picture. It seems like so long ago, and it was just 5 weeks. When is your next trip? I don't know that I'll go in '08, unless it's a last minute thing. We have two 10-day family trips planned this year, so I think that might be it. But never say never....if DH racks up those Starwood points at work this year then I'll HAVE to go free to Swan or Dolphin, right??? The girls trip with Pam & Tracy in October is tempting me too...

YIKES ! I hope you're coming home on a different flight too-but at least they should be worn out by then and may sleep most of the flight.

Not only are we coming back on a different flight, we are coming into a different state. They are flying into Newark, us in to Philly. That sounds like just about the right distance.

Don't I wish!! At least I'd have an excuse!! Don't know what happened! I don't know when the next trip will be. My brother is still having problems with his back. My husband doesn't "do Disney". Guess I'll have to get up the nerve to try a solo trip! I'm ready now!!! A girls trip????? That sounds very interesting!!! Tell me more!!

Thanks! Like I said, it took me a year!!! I'm always afraid I'm going to to something wrong & ruin the camera!! I must say, my pictures did get good this time. I think I'll post them as a "pics only report".

It is good to see the pictures on here. The Castle pictures Linda has are awesome. I know I definitely want to get back to Disney again one year after Thanksgiving. The year I was there they did not do the lights in MGM as they were refurbishing them. Good excuse to get back again.

Hey Tracy - you need to change your location from Quakertown to Schuykill Haven or Deer Lake or Blue Mountain or wherever you are now! If you haven't tried it yet, the Port Clinton Hotel (about 1 mile north of Cabellas on 61) has great cheesesteaks & fries - and HUGE portions. It's a bar-type atmosphere with a family dining room. We love to stop on our way "up home" when we're craving lots of greasy food!

Hey, I've eaten at the Port Clinton Hotel!! The portions are indeed HUGE, not to mention good!
