Just dropping a note to say that all is good. The caribbean is still here and its beautiful. Already abusing the spa and the concierge accomadations. Category 3 rocks. I've got no idea how I'll survive in Cat 7 for panama

Hi all,
Thought I'd add on to this post. 1st time on the Magic. Thanks to theses boards we were at the port early and I was able to upgrade froma catagory 6 to a 3 for $1196.00!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is worth every penny. No ressie rush you just go to a lounge and the concierge takes care of everything. The suite is amazing we are a family of 4 and the space is wonderful. Went to Who wants to be a mouseketeer last night an 8 year old girl who new more than her mom won a 7 night cruise it was awesome!!!!!!!!!! We went to palo last night it was very nice but it cannot compair to the specialty restaurant on the Celebrity Summit that was spectacular. Overall the food is just OK. Had a collegen facial this morning and I think it was the best I've ever had. We went to Key West yesterday and that was fun. The kids are having a great time although things are a bit crowded. I'll post more later.

Ditto that "Hi From Magic". A fantastic trip with kids and grandma's this time. I was worried the grandmas wouldn't have any fun...haven't seen them except for dinner for 2 days! BTW I'm sure that Cat 3 is great but 3 Cat 10 trips in 18 months is Even Better! Life in steerage has never been so good. Chiao!

Don't add to the rumors/misunderstanding that staying in a cat 8 or lower is "steerage". I already get enough of the "Oh, your staying way down there on deck 2 attitude" (insert smile that has someone looking down their nose here) and "it must be terrible staying in a room without a veranda" (oooo icky, icky, icky Don't touch me, I might catch something). And finally... it must be kinda creepy staying below the surface of the ocean (all guest rooms are above the water line).

Capt announced that they would not be returning to GC till Dec or Jan at the earliest.
