Hi from PA! From the Welcome Board

I might be moving to PA soon, as a transfer student to Edinboro University (about 30 minutes from Erie.)

Any advice for a Floridian moving to PA? Lol.

It'll be my first time experiencing snow or anything like that LOL. I'll probably be like 5 years old the first time.

(and yes I copy and pasted this from the other forum lol)

how exciting!!!! DH & I both went to EUP, it is however VERY snowy. the past 5 years we averaged about 200 inches of snow, HOWEVER.......we have the equipement to move it so it doesn't stop anything, hardly even slows anything down. It is a beautiful campus, large though, so you'll have to have boots, coat, hat, gloves (listen to me---mom of 3 now!), anyway.......what will you be studying?

I'm going to major in Elementary Education eventually, but I am going in Undeclared, to give me a semester to get accustomed to the area and such. What kind of equipment? Like Snow Plows? Is it a good school then?

you could call them snow plows....:rotfl: ...the snow plows are huge pieces of snow moving equipment, the huge plows keep the interstates cleared & the town. The campus has a little bit smaller snow plows to keep the pathways cleared. The spring & fall are beautiful. EUP is a good school particulary for Education, it used to be known as 'the teachers college'. What made you decide to come up here? Are you a new college student?

It's a long story really, but mainly I think a change of scenery would be good for me. I'm not a "new" student, I'll be a sophomore when I get up there, but I'm suppose to be a junior. My local community college keeps dropping my classes for some reason, and it's getting a tad much for me LOL.

So how much do you think I'll freeze my behind off my first winter?

Way to go CMO Justin! :cool2: If you need any candidates to be in your cabinet, I'll gladly volunteer... ;)
