HHN Website is up!!!

I'm thinking about doing a HHN VIP tour. I'm going to HHN twice, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should do the VIP tour on one of the nights.

OMG! I'm so excited to do this again!

I just purchased the tickets from the link you posted. Decided on the Frequent Fear Pass. It's the same price as a single ticket. We'll be in Orlando for almost two weeks so hopefully we can get to do HHN twice!!

I wonder where the Stay and Scream area will be since Lost Continent will be closed. I hope it's at Finnegan's in front of the Mummy. If not it will probably be at the Backwater bar near the front of IOA.

That's going to be a lot of walking going from EarthQuake to the the Bill and Ted show.

Looks like the attack plan will be to hit the Mummy, the houses on the USF side, then take it easy and head to the Bill and Ted show.

If you notice, it looks like 5 of the houses are being done on sound stages, one using the old Herc and Zena building. That makes preparing for the event easy, because these building are not used in the day time by the parks. When you stare at the map, it all makes sense. They should be able to get the event up and running much faster than before.

Any info on HHN Express Passes yet? Do you need to purchase them in advance?

I have to say that I am pretty upset about how they are running Halloween Horror Nights this year. I moved to Orlando in the middle of October of last year and was VERY excited to go to HHN. I went and it was AWESOME!!!!!!! It was only about $25 to get in. We went on a week night and got it all done by 11pm. There were also 6 or 7 houses last year. This year, not only have they DOUBLED the price, but it seems like there is a LOT less going on then there was last year. Only 6 houses and very few "scare zones". I am an annual pass holder for both parks and it doesn't seem like we (annual pass holders) are going to get that much of a deal for this event. I was looking into getting the frequent fear pass...but that isn't good on the nights that we want to go. I will have friends in town for at least 2 of the weekends and they want to go. That means that I am going to be spending a whole lot of money ON TOP of the almost $300 I have spent for my annual passes. They really should have put more thought into this for their members!

As it stands now, I won't be going. It's cheaper and makes more sense to go to Hallowscream at Busch Gardens in Tampa.

The $25 you paid last year was obviously a discounted price. The regular admission was around $48.00. There will undoubtedly be a discount for annual passholders again this year, and there is a florida resident discount of $20.00.

There were 6 houses last year, this year there are 7 plus a parade. There are a similar number of scare zones as last year also.

We're planning to visit Universal for the first time the end of Sept/beginning of Oct. A post a while back mentioned certain rides that were closed during the day at the end of Sept last year in preparation for HHN. Does anyone know what rides/attractions will be affected this year or a way I can find out? Thank you.
