Photography is allowed in many areas (not including inside houses or during the B&T show) during HHN but please bear in mind that the scareactors' first responsibility is to play their part in the show, and many times that will not include posing for photographs. Some scare zones, such as last year's Icons of Horror and 2014's FaceOff were designed to provide photo ops, but other scare zones are not. Also, please try to avoid using your flash/external lighting or at the very least, if you need to use a flash, please ask for permission first. Camera flashes and phone lights can be blinding and with bulky costumes or stilts in dark areas flashes can be dangerous to the scareactors. Plus, most of the time with the fog effects and such, flash pictures will come out like crap anyway. So while you are welcome to bring your cameras and take photographs, please be respectful to the scareactors and other guests and if you are asked by a TM to stop taking pictures or turn off your video camera light, just comply with their request and don't argue. It only makes you look like a jerk and could end up getting you trespassed.
Sorry for the lecture but I'm very protective of my scareactor friends.
Oh and schumigirl - I ended up with almost 1400 HHN images in my FLICKR album last year, lol.[/QUOTE
