HHN for the first time question

Me and my troop are going to US for 14 days in june but i am thinking of taking a weekend in october to take the DW to HHN. what will be a good weekend to go?

Just about any weekend would be fine...you might want to stay away from Columbus Day though. If you are going on a Friday or Saturday, I strongly recommend purchasing Express passes...the lines can get to 120 mins on a weekend.
