We will be in the park and doing the Stay and Scream.

If it's in USF this year, what places will be open to eat at in the evening?

Last year, just about every major eatery was open. Monsters Cafe, The Irish Place, just about everything. Not to mention all the normal stands and what not.

I don't think you'd have any problem finding something to eat. Like Yaytez said...most sit down places were open as well as the carts. I would recommend Louie's or Finnegan's for dinner although Louie's is my favorite. :thumbsup2

Last year, the Stay and Scream area was at Twister. There were a few carts, but you couldn't really get food once you went inside the S&S area. Plus you want to get thru as many houses as possible in the beginning.

My advice? Order pizza for lunch from Flippers or the hotel, bring gallon size zip lock bags. Put the pizza in the bags, suck the air out and place in a cooler. Now when you get back to your room, you have cold pizza waiting.

The food places may be open in the park, but they might be packed. Plus you'll be spending a ton of money on drinks if you buy some in the park, they're expensive. I find that after being yelled at for 3 hours, I just wanna get back to my room where it's quiet.

When we were there on a non peak night, Finnegans was the stay and scream holding area. Made it nice.

Finnegan's was also the stay & scream area the last Friday of October, we had a blast there before hitting the houses!

Thanx everyone for your speedy responses:thumbsup2

Here's another thing to remember.

Don't start drinking before the event starts. Why? Because the lines are long, drinks are expensive, and the buzz will wear off. I've done the pre-game having a few drinks before the event started and it doesn't make things better. When I got buzzed before the event, it made me hungry, and then I'd leave early. Now I don't drink during the event, I wait until I get back to the hotel room.

You can have dinner at Finnegans before the event starts, and ride the Mummy a few times, but then I'd concentrate on getting thru the houses and eat something back at the hotel room. Drink prices are ridiculous, it goes back to the HRH pool thread where people mention giving the server a $20 for 2 people and getting no change back.

Don't forget the fact there's a high probability of needing to pee half way through a big line to get into one of the houses!

Stay and Scream also has one other advantage....no one frisks you, or makes you go through metal detectors. Why is that an advantage? Cargo Pants and a flask, All I'm sayin.

Also, any alcoholic beverage purchased, must be finished before leaving the park. You can't bring it into Citywalk.
