HHI golf question

[On the Lake]

Going to be down the second week of May with DW and DD and we would like to have a golf lesson and play a little golf. Can anyone recommend a course were we could get a lesson and then play nine holes? The girls have never played golf before so we would need someone with great patience!

I'd suggest taking a look at the Palmetto Dunes golf facility (it's on the left on the way to the beach about 1/2 mile from the resort). Here is a link - http://www.palmettodunes.com/hilton-head-golf-lessons.php - Doug Weaver (the pro in the picture) does a wonderful job with students of all ages. There are lots of golfing options available on Hilton Head, but PD is the closest and pretty reasonable too.

Palmetto Dunes is a great course. Played there a couple of times. Although I never took lessons there, everyone was very friendly.

If you want to wait until you arrive {don't know if that is a good idea or not??}, the folks at the desk will be happy to help you. DH made several tee times thru them on one of our trips. and I think the price was discounted a bit. Again not sure about that part. You might even want to call HH before you leave and see what they suggest.
