HHI availability at 7 months for spring break

I want to book 5-7 days at spring break (week before Easter) next year at Hilton Head. How is the availability at the 7 month mark for that time period? I could do either a two bedroom or a one bedroom. Thanks!

If you try to get a 2 bedroom at HHI, you will have more of a chance since there are more 2 bedrooms than 1 bedrooms at this resort.

If you book when the booking window opens at 7 months, you may have the best chance.

3 times as many 2BR's (76) vs 1BR's (21) so I echo @hhisc16's statement....plan on a 2BR and if you can get a 1BR, consider yourself lucky. The 1BR's are all part of lock-offs and most of them (16) are in the "main" building which are the only ones accessible by elevator, thus making them the only ones available to those with mobility needs.

We are trying for the exact same week. I've been stalking the site and it seems 2BR are still wide open. We have points expiring end of May and we really hope this works out, but I'm a little worried. Good luck and maybe we'll see you down there!

That's probably true-it certainly makes sense, too. However, I was there one time when it wasn't true. A man was at the front desk, asking if "we" can stay an extra night. The CM noted that he'd been in a 2 BR, but he'd have to move to a 1 BR, as they had availability in those, but not in 2 Bedrooms. I went to talk with her after he left-I wasn't sure I'd (I know, overheard) right. She explained that sometimes there are so many big family groups looking for 2 Bedrooms, that 1 Bedrooms actually have more availability.

HHI has 76 dedicated 2BRs, 5 GVs, and 21 lock-off 2BRs, and you need to get into one of those lock-offs to get a studio or 1BR. As a result 2BRs are often open at 7-months out when studios are not. Nevertheless, when you say week before Easter, I am assuming you mean the week leading up to Easter that starts with Palm Sunday. Demand for that week is generally comparable to demand for Easter week and both have higher demand at HHI than the surrounding weeks. You have a chance for a 2BR but based on past history it could be missing a couple days (random and not consecutive) in that week before 7-months out. You may have a chance for a 1BR but it too could be missing some days for that week.
