HHI and Fishing trips ?????

I know there is probably a post on here that talks about Captain Scott and the fishing excursions at HHI so if these questions have been asked a million times, please forgive me.
And please lead me to the right post if there is one.

I know the trips last around 3 hours, but where does the boat leave from? And where exactly does it go out in the water? Very far from the resort?

And it is $300 per 6 people, correct? Also, it looks like the boat is rather small but has anyone gotten queezy from the ride?

Thanks so much! We are going to be there April 17th through April 21st and can't wait. Just wanted to line some things up and didn't know if we should go ahead and call now or wait until we get there.

The boat leaves from the Disney dock at the marina- right at the resort. It usually does not go out into the open ocean, but stays within the island grouping of HH and Dafuskie.

We have done it the last two years and had a great time. My son-in-law has even had two of his catches mounted (50"- Redfish and Spanish Mackerel). We caught lots of sharks (black tip, nurse, brown, hammer head). The trips are a lot of fun. We've never made any arrangements until arrival at the resort.

I am prone to motion sickness and have not had any problem on either excursion. Highly recommended.

We've done the fishing trip with Captain Scott the last two summers and absolutely love it.

Both experiences have been great and very different from each other. The first year, my oldest son had a very hot rod and caught shark after shark after shark as well as 3 different rays. Even my younger son was able to pull in baby sharks.

Last year, we didn't have as much luck but I guess that's what happens with fishing -- some good days, some not so good days. We will still try again this coming summer as it's an awesome experience.

We've fished off of a point in Broad Creek -- not a creek like in our neck of the woods but one that has all sorts of sea life in it and rises & falls with the tides. We've never been far from short -- in fact, the hot spot was close enough that I could have swam to shore if I really wanted to -- however, seeing what came out of that water was enough to keep me in the boat.
