HH Sprint PCS Cell Phone Service

Has anyone had success with using a SprintPCS system phone on HHI, without incurring roaming fees? Was it digital or analog?

I used my Sprint phone last summer at Hilton Head without any problems or roaming charges.

I was there two days ago an was able to use my Sprint phone without roaming. Now, inside a villa may be a different story...
