salmon mousse appys and choc truffles etc. Very pleasant surprise! It was a terrific meal at an extremely reasonable price. But you do have to go early for it, otherwise it can be pricey. Enjoy!I've posted this somewhere else, but I will add it to this thread as well. We recently got back from another trip to HH. We were so impressed by one restaurant that I am excited to share. We tried the Old Fort Pub's "Early Sampling Menu". I think it is only offered from 5-5:30 or 6 (call for info). It was fabulous, great view and awesome service. The chef kept sending out things to try that we did not ordersalmon mousse appys and choc truffles etc. Very pleasant surprise! It was a terrific meal at an extremely reasonable price. That guide they have on the island is great, but www.hhidining.com has all the menus.... Nice to plan a little. Anthony's is GREAT ITALIAN and has wine flights. Not for children.
ALso, during busy times, it is worth it to pay that island delivery service to get take out delivered. SOmetimes it is so busy guisseppis line is busy for hours, but htat way you get around it.
THe German rest is fun and I will miss it.

We've been to HHI 8 times and Old Fort Pub and Charlie's Crab are my 2 favorite restaurants in HHI. They are a bit more on the upscale side-like the Disney Signature restaurants. Of course on the casual side-we love Salty Dog Cafe.
When we were down a couple of weeks ago we saw that Robert Irvine (Food Network - Dinner Impossible) has opened a restaurant on HHI. Anyone tried it yet?
