Help! With so many differant options, I'm having a hard time deciding where to go in Sept. It will be me, DH and DD who will be four by that time. I'm thinking we will rent a studio and drive down for the week. Any opinions would be appreciated in helping me make my decision. When I ask my DH, he says "its up to you" UGH

When you wish upon a star...DVC will take you far...anything your heart desires....will come your way

A few things to consider:

The beach/ocean at HH is a short drive/bike ride away. AT VB its a short walk and you can see it out of many of the rooms.

We didn't see as many public golf courses in the area at VB, but we didn't look that hard. HH has some very nice courses within a 5-15 minute drive.

The pools are similar. They both have activities for the kids. VB has a small park/lake across the street w/ basketball, volleyball, horshoes etc..

The on premise restaraunt at VB served some good food. At HH we had to go off premise more often to eat.

At VB the Inn rooms are more of a hotel setting, but still a little larger than your average hotel room.

At VB you can make a (long) day run to DisneyWorld.

The weather in Sept is likely to be warmer at VB than at HH.

For us we planned to go golfing when we went to HH and we planned to veg on the beach when we went to VB. We enjoyed both trips

One other thing to consider when going to either resort in September. It is the busiest month of hurricane season. Lately most of the storms have headed toward Carolina as opposed to Florida.

Hubby and I were thinking about going to HH in September too....I was thinking about what Mattsdad had said regarding the hurricanes....

Hubby has another week at the end of November. Maybe we will go back to Florida...

Just thinking outloud... Sorry.

if you are driving HH is much closer than VB. HH is really close to some shopping and restuarants. Both are really wonderful resorts.

We have not stayed at HH yet but absolutely love VB. We have driven from Wakefield MA on 3 occassions. Once nonstop and the other 2 times we spent the night at the VA/NC border. WE had to cancel our April ressies but were planning on using HH as our stop on the way home. Maybe you can work it out so you can get the best of both worlds. Try VB for 3 nights then drive up to HH for another 2-3 nights!!

Enjoy! It's great planning a warm vacation when we are expecting 12-18 inches of snow tonight!! We leave on the 19th for WDW!!!
