HH One BR - Which area and views?

We are going to HH in March and have never been. We are going for a romantic week w/o our son! Can anyone suggest a good view and area for a one bedroom?

I've been to HH several times (3 X in March), and always gotten a 1 BR. The best view, I think, is from one on the 3rd floor of the main building. I'm at work now, but I'll double-check when I get home, and post a picture and the room #. The ones not in the Main Lodge or Building 12 are first floor and sometimes noisy. If we ask for non-smoking, top floor of lodge, we've always gotten a nice room. But I'll try to post a picture of one room we had when I get home-it's beautiful!

We had a 1 bdrm in Sept in bldg 18. It looked out over the marsh, really nice. I use the rockers and the porch a lot, so the view is probably more important to me at HH than at WDW.

The down side is it is under a grandvilla, as I think all the 1 bdrms that are not in the lodge are. The neighbors upstairs and us had a few polite conversations until they understood how their music was carrying down and beyond. The weather was wonderful and we could, as others were, leaving our door open sometimes. the good side was they were not there that much.

Hope you enjoy HH. We love it. Quiet and relaxing.

I'm pretty sure the room # was 1132. There's another 1 BR right next to it, also, closer to the back of the lodge-I think that one's #1138-I'd love to get that one sometime.

We've stayed in three different 1 BR at HH and I would agree that I prefer the ones in the Live Oak Lodge or next door to it. We were in Bldg. 18, like lsutiggeratwrk, and heard quite a bit of noise from the grandvilla above. I do not think the people above us were actually that loud - it just really carries for some reason. Next time, I'll ask for top floor, lodge building and hope for the best.
