Dean, I'll assume that Tommy was comparing onsite VB restaurants to HHI restaurants. If that's true, I'd agree that the cost of a meal is comparable.
I'd just like to get my two cents in on HHI restaurants. I'm an avid eater (with the waistline to back it up!), and we were thrilled with HHI's restaurants. There really are high quality restaurants of all kinds there. They may not be especially cheap, but we always felt that we got good value. And a couple restaurants that we ate at were exceptional. The quality was much higher at HHI than at VB, either onsite or off.
I'd also like to second LindaDVC's comment. HHI's restrictions about signs make it pretty confusing at first, since you often can't see anything from the road. And a lot of the good restaurants that are just off the highway have confusing addresses, since they are located in various strip malls. Once you get the hang of it, though, it's great because it keeps the island looking so beautiful. But we were lost a lot of the time the first two days.
