Just wanted to know how are the temps generally in October / Early November at HH. Can you still swim in the ocean. Stuff like that. Any information would be appreciated.

The site below should answer most of your questions.

Personally, I don't think there's a bad time to visit Hilton Head. At certain times of the year, you might not be able to take advantage of some of what the island has to offer, but there is always plenty to do. And if you just want to relax, I can't think of a more beautiful place to do it. ::yes::

We were just there in November. I think we checked in on the 8th... the first full day we were there, we were in the ocean which I just couldn't believe. I can't stand cold and it was beautiful. But each day it got a little cooler and very windy, so we only got the one day in the ocean water. We did do a beach walk on another day in jackets and pants and it was still nice (but I wouldn't have gone in the water that day!). We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back in August!:sunny:

We were there this past Oct 31 to Nov 4. We had temperatures near or over 80 each day, although I think that is probably a little warmer that usual. Perfect swimming weather; we were in the pool every day. didn't swim in the ocean, but plenty of people were. We're going back next year about the same time. Have fun.
