HH in March--What's the weather like?

We're thinking of doing our Spring Break at HH next March. Its the only DVC resort we've yet to stay at BUT I kind of associate Spring Break with warm weather. Is it warm at HH in late March?

It isn't to hot to do anything but it does rain a lot in March.

There's a chance that it will be warm enough to swim in March (especially late March)...but don't count on it. The nice thing is, the humidity won't be bad yet...and neither will the bugs! I think March is a nice time to be at the beach...but not swimming in the ocean. June-August is peak season for HH...but I'm sure it's wonderful through September and into October.

Went for Spring Break, 2003, third week of March. It rained heavily for a couple of days, never reached over 50 any of the days. It may be different in other years, but I'd say it's just a chance you take. I probably won't do Spring Break again there. Just too cool and wet.

I see that you are from Florida and thus know how unpredictable Spring can be. We came to Fl this past March and it was pretty darn chilly even down there. We are southerners and don't like to swim unless it is REALLY WARM. I would not ever count on it being very warm up in HH so early in the year. As long as swimming is not you main goal, go for it. Otherwise stay in Fl!!! (or try Mexico, a cruise, etc. We are thinking about Arizona for our next Spring Break)

Ironically we were there the week before Candace-no rain all our week, and it was significantly warmer. However, I'd agree with others that it really wasn't warm enough for swimming. However, we did enjoy biking, miniature golf, golf.
And we got paid back this year when we went in late February-cold, rain, wind all week. And everyone telling us how it had been so much warmer the week before!

One year it was great. A little cool but very sunny. When we went last year, it was awful. It rained everyday and no sun ever. I don't think we will go again in March.
