HH ded. 2 bedrm cash?

If I am lucky and am able to get a HH dedicated 2 bedroom at 7 months, I would like to do a weekend day or 2 on cash with member discount. MS told me that cash discount is available when we are going, but I forgot to ask if I it is available for dedicated rooms or only lockoffs. Anyone know?

HH will allow few (if any) lock-off 2BR villas. Since there are only 21 lock-off 2BR villas (and 76 dedicated), they will usually only reserve the lock-offs for HCA needs. (Only lock-offs will meet HCA needs).

Most likely you will have a dedciated 2BR villa for your reservation.

Great news, Doc! Since we will be 4 women friends traveling together, each would like a separate bed, so it will be nice to only have to deal with one sofabed instead of 2. Thanks!

Also, a tip that helped us...if you are going during a busy time, you don't have to wait until the 7 month window to book your cash nights. We booked our cash nights at HH about 10 months ahead of time then linked those to our points nights at the 7 month window.

So are you saying you booked using cash then when the 7 month window became available you called and transfered / changed it over the points.

we need a dedicated 2 br but not at our home resort and we wouldn't be able to go if we never go one so part of me is saying book now using cash and the other half is saying wait and use our points

No. We also stayed over a weekend and used the DVC member cash discount for the weekend nights so we called before the 7 month window and booked just those cash, weekend nights and then added the weekday points nights to that reservation at the 7 month window.
