HH Beach Rehab?

Can anyone advise on this? I read in a different post that they were rehabbing the beach area in front of the DVC beach house. We will be there over the Christmas holiday, but this could change our plans.

was at the dvc beach on thurs 11/9 and scanned north and south and did not see the dredge anywhere in sight - i believe this part of the project has been completed - but you can check out the progress at this website: http://www.hiltonheadislandsc.gov/

the beach on thurs looked nice and wide - several folks were out riding bikes, parents were snapping pix of their kids, others were catching the rays, some looking for sea glass; and several folks were at the pool. weather was windy but very warm.

Just curios to OP-Trampslady
Do you think the weather will be beach worthy during Chritmas or are you just thinking of walks on the beach?

I'm hoping that the weather will be fair enough to enjoy many walks on the beach and even, perhaps, a blanket and a book to enjoy. I know it won't be "beach" weather, but I really enjoy the ocean during the off months as long as it's not frigid outside.
