Fell behind but I'm back!!

That dinner looks and sounds lovely!! I doubt I'll ever be in the area but I'll for sure keep it in mind!

Getting up that early and road tripping before heading to a park is intense! Props to you guys for doing it! Yay!

Frozen fun!

Cute disneybounds! Steven & I have an Anna & Elsa one that we're revisiting this month! Although we aren't doing summer fun, we're there for villains!

That's super good to know that the procession keeps going after the stage! A great way to watch it in an empty space! Bahaha, Disney threw together the event so quickly they wouldn't have had time to make any new costumes! All the stuff is RIGHT out of the xmas parade!

I feel bad for the CM's in those heavy costumes in the heat and still needing to smile! Great way to lose weight I guess though! lol

Ooooh! I can't wait to go see Guardians! We're waiting till next week though, going opening weekend is brutal and everytime we see a Marvel movie on opening weekend we get jerks behind us talking or some kid slurping his empty drink behind us and his dad saying nothing!!

Both Jeremy and I have really enjoyed the Disneybounding! It is kind of fun, especially when people realize that you are doing it. I try to keep my outfits comfortable, and not too over the top. I don't want to be walking around in the hot Florida weather being miserable...LOL I think you guys would have fun doing it! At least one day! You could each pick out your favorite character and go for it!! If you want to see some ideas for it go here and check it out!!

You can look through the archives, she has literally TONS of choices where you could get some ideas! I always start with her, then look in my closet to see what I have that would work!

Andrea, thanks for the link. And Wow!!! I can see why that's a good place for inspiration. I think you do a really nice job of picking out clothes and colors for Disneybounding, and it looks like you and Jeremy have a lot of fun with it, too.

It looks like Olaf enjoyed ToT! I hope Mindy didn't mind the ride too much. The ride photo is great, and I completely agree how fun it is to get the photo afterward and see all the different reactions everyone's having.

The Anna and Elsa Disneybounds you guys did were fantastic!! So jealous that you are getting to be there for Villains! We really wanted to, but with all of our other trips we just couldn't manage that one! I hope you have a blast!

Yeah the Christmas Parade recycles were funny, they did fit in though, so I can't really blame them! Basically it is just getting me ready for the Very Merry Christmas Party! It was like a little teaser

Isn't that photo great! I think you are right, there were a lot of first timers on that one! Then me and Jeremy being silly with Olaf! It was amusing though that people realized at the photo TV what I did and commented on it!

So what you are saying is, I should do a parade down my street with heavy clothes on! No wonder my weight losing was going slowly... I just now today...made it back to the starting weight I had reached before we went on this trip! Now I can finally get back to losing for the next trip, only so I can eat it all back at the Food & Wine Festival...muahahaha!

We loved Guardians!! We live in a really small town, so there were maybe only 30 people in our theater when we saw it yesterday afternoon! Even though it is a vacation town, most people are at the beach rather than at the movies!! I totally hate slurpers and talkers! Hopefully you will get to see it soon! I definitely recommend it! It was great! Really funny too!

Olaf loved ToT! Poor Mindy, you can kind of tell from the photo that it wasn't the most enjoyable ride for her At least now I know that it's not her favorite. I would be pretty unhappy too if she made a FP+ for me to ride Dinosaur She was a trooper though!! She knew she didn't have to ride, and took one for the team anyway! She is a great friend!

So we finished up with our Photopass photo and started heading over towards Oaken's! I just love the Sorcerer's Hat Stage all decked out in Frozen stuff!

Oh I almost forgot! We wanted to grab us a few timed tickets for the Frozen Sing-Along show for later in the day! I think we decided we wanted the 5:00 show! So we quickly walked over across from the Premiere Theater and picked up those tickets, so we could come back and have guaranteed seats! While I was getting them Jeremy got a Frozen Coke ICEE and a water for me! It was super easy to get the tickets and they had plenty! So tickets in hand, we started making our way over to Oaken's Funland!

We were ready for some desserts! I had seen the cupcakes, and this trip started a new love for Disney cupcakes! So Olaf wanted to lick both of them first before we had a chance to enjoy them!

Hey Olaf, you have a little frosting there! I chose to get the Elsa cupcake! Mindy got one of the Blue Raspberry Frozen drinks!

I had to steal a little lick before digging in! Olaf made me do it!

Jeremy got the Anna cupcake! We liked them! They weren't as good as we thought they would be, but don't worry there are more cupcakes to come! We started looking for them everywhere after this!

If anyone read my last TR, when we were at Star Wars Weekends in Darth's Mall they had these cool backdrops set up everywhere which used a phone app called Aurasma! Well guess what! They had them for Frozen too!! The first one we came upon was with the trolls!!

Then, since Jeremy was dressed as Sven, it was only fitting that the next one we found featured him!! So Jeremy jumped right in there with him!

Once we finished up with the Aurasma shots, the ice skating demonstration was about to start! I had really wanted to ice skate when I found out that they were doing it, but when we got there, they required you to wear a helmet, ugh, I didn't want helmet hair, so we just decided to forego the ice skating and watch the demo instead! It was actually really awesome, they were skating to different songs from the movie!

Once the demo was over it was getting pretty close to our Fastpass time for Star Tours! So we started heading that way! We all took guesses on what different scenes we would see! Jeremy guessed Battle over Coruscant, I guessed Hoth, and Mindy said that she knew what it was going to be because every single time she had ridden it she got the Pod Race and Naboo! So we shall see what happens! Olaf didn't have a guess because he said he had never ridden it! But he was excited that we were at number 1, since it was his first time!

So what did we get?? We had Battle over Coruscant and Hoth! Then for good measure Yoda! We had never seen Yoda before so that was a treat, plus both of us were right, and Mindy got to see some scenes she had never seen! All in all it was kind of perfect! Star Tours isn't my favorite ride, not because it isn't awesome because it is, but because I should seriously consider taking some Dramamine before I ride it! It makes me all woozy!

When we left Star Tour we started walking towards the Magic of Disney Animation building! We had never met Ralph and Vanellope or seen the new hangout of Minnie Mouse, so we wanted to take a look! Before we went over to the characters though, we took a few minutes to watch the Where Disney Characters Come From show! We hadn't seen it in a while and were feeling a little nostalgic! Mushu was as silly as ever and then it was time to go and meet some characters!

The lines were not really long at all, so it didn't take us too long to meet Vanellope, we didn't get to see Ralph though, so we may have to try and find him later on!

Next up we headed over to see Minnie! I love her dressing room! It is just so festive and adorable! Plus her sparkly dress is fantastic! You can't really tell in the photo though!

We were going to check out Mickey and Mr. Incredible, but the lines were starting to get a little long, so we decided we may try some other time! When we made it outside it was starting to sprinkle rain, so we quickly speed walked over to One Man's Dream to look around until it was time for us to head over to the Frozen Sing Along!

Yeah I found your report ... I saw you posted on another trip report today and thought ding ding ding I think she's doing another TR. I'm pretty sure we were at Disneyland when you were at WDW ... But I'm off to the movies with my husband and tonight I'll do a big time catch up reading before I go to sleep : )

I think your decision to say no to helmet hair was the right one! Especially since you got some great shots with Venellope and Minnie.

More cupcakes coming...yippee!! I had no idea until our last trip just how good these Disney cupcakes can be. As always, great job, Andrea!

On this previous trip, I think I literally gained like 9 pounds of some type of weight! I know a lot was probably fluid, because we aren't really used to eating things with loads of sodium, but oh well, it is worth it, and like I said, I am back to what I was before I left and that was what 9 days ago that we got back! So not too bad! Yeah we should totally volunteer to be in the parades! As if all that walking isn't enough already!!

I love those Aurasma shots! If only my phone would take photos as well as my regular camera it would make me so happy! We had to keep them in line, trolls will be trolls after all!

Cupcakes are going to turn into an every trip thing I bet! There are so many, and they are literally everywhere! I can't wait for the Halloween party because they have special ones too!!

That is one thing I have learned about Disney World! If you get into it, well at least if we do, we always have so much more fun!! They really know how to plan activities and we loved having Olaf along for our Summer Fun! You will really see if you watch the video I put up at the end...LOL

After I saw the cupcakes on the report you guys are doing, we made special plans to go to Contempo on our next trip, just to see what kinds they have!! Those cupcakes looked so good, I mean they were even filled! Yum!

I also love that no matter how many times we go to Disney World, by reading others TRs I usually always find something new and exciting to do!! Sure going to a resort for cupcakes isn't what most people would do on their trip to Disney, but one Por Favor Mantenganse Alejado De Las Puertas, and we will totally be all over that!

We were still walking around in One Man's Dream, it is so much fun to look at all the scale models, there is also a lot of history in there! Jeremy was a little sad because they took out the Rocketeer stuff, that is one of his favorite Disney movies! I hadn't seen the Tribute film in a while so we had time, it was also nice to sit down again even if it was only for 15 more minutes...oh wait, then we would get to sit down again!

After the film, it was about time for us to head over to the Frozen Sing Along!! At the same time Dan, Mindy's husband was about to get off work and head our way, so hopefully he would be here to meet us whenever we got out of the Sing Along! We got in line at the perfect time, just as they were starting to let everyone in to the theater! We found great seats! Olaf was excited, and hoping that they would sing In Summer! He just loves Summer!

Again it just amazes me how things can change in such a short period of time! We were in this same theater last month and it was all Star Wars decked out! Now it is a Frozen Wonderland!

The show was about to start!! It was pretty cute! The performers were really fun and listening to everyone sing the songs together was definitely an experience! It was also a little odd at times because there were two ladies behind us who were really into it, sadly they may have been tone deaf. They were singing so loud that at one point I forgot what the actual song sounded like because all we could hear were the way they were singing it Disney is so great, people lose their inhibitions and just have fun!! Thinking about that makes me smile, at the time I was like seriously I want to hear the songs, but now it is definitely a memory that will stick with me! Like, remember that time...we were at that sing along...and those ladies behind us were screeching!! Good times!

After the sing along, the next order of business was our Fastpasses for Toy Story Midway Mania!! Also, Dan had made it, we met up with him right outside next to Mr. Spell! Then it was time for a little competition!! Nothing gets my blood pumping like trying to beat Jeremy at Disney rides

He was scared! Because he was going down!! Between this ride and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, I can't decide which one makes me more proud to win! It looked a little even at first, but soon one was victorious!

I did it!! I won!! Poor Jeremy, sometimes I think he lets me win just so I don't pout later...lol! Dan had best in car, he and Mindy beat both Jeremy and I, that's ok though! They live down here, they have more practice, at least that is what I am telling myself!

When we finished up with TSMM, we found out that Dan hadn't been to Oaken's yet, so we swung over there just so he could see inside before it was time for us to make our dinner reservation over at Hollywood Brown Derby! None of us had ever eaten there before, so this was going to be a new experience for us all! We got seated and Olaf asked who all of the people were on the wall, and why he wasn't up there, he was after all a movie star! Well we fixed that for him!

We were pretty excited about eating here, I had heard lots of good things, and only a few negative, we were finally going to find out for ourselves!

We started looking at the menu, and then as always I like to listen to recommendations from the people who work there! They usually know what the good stuff to get is!

I'm not sure why Dan was laughing at Mindy, but I thought it was a funny photo so I am going to stick it in here anyway!!

So for an appetizer, Jeremy and I ordered the Crab Spring Rolls! They were so delicious! If I would have based our experience on that app alone, this place would have gotten a solid 10 from me! I was so engaged in coversation the entire time I forgot to take photos of the app and entrees! So Jeremy got the Charred-glazed Filet of Beef - with a red wine reduction, topped with a cabernet and roasted shallot butter, over white truffle oil wild forest mushroom mashed potato, sauteed haricot verts and golden beets, oh my was this good!! I was a little disappointed that I didn't get it. It was the clear winner of the group!! I had the Scotch Maple-Glazed Loch Duart Salmon - over golden lentils, applewood smoked bacon, and English peas topped with fennel and citrus salad. The Salmon was a little overcooked, and the lentils a little undercooked, but the citrus salad was great! It was an ok dish, it was good enough to eat, but I probably wouldn't get it again. We did save room for a nice fruity dessert though!! They are famous for their Grapefruit Cake!

Again it was pretty good, I have had much better and much worse desserts before! So when you put everything together, Hollywood Brown Derby for us, was good to go to, and now that we had gone, we probably wouldn't go back. Definitely nice to experience at least once though! We can check that one off of our list of Disney restaurants! Hmm...I need to sit down and figure that out again! See what we have left so I can make plans for it!

We had been going since pretty early this morning and now that we were full of food, we were about to crash!! We decided that tonight we would skip the fireworks and try and hit them up again later in the trip! We still had to catch the bus back to the resort, and then take our luggage up to the room! So we said goodbye to Dan & Mindy, for now, and headed toward the bus stop! We would see them again on Saturday! Tomorrow we had a fresh new day and our first stop was going to be Magic Kingdom!

First of all, you don't need your elbow for Buzz, secondly I used my left hand along with you on the second time riding Toy Story Midway Mania and still won. So, either you let me win, or I am just awesome! ....thirdly...It's Insania. So there.
