Hey New Englanders!! How's the foliage?

Is the foliage changing yet? I was thinking about driving up and spending a little time.

I don't know about NE but our leaves are changing here in the MO bluffs. It is very pretty.

Here in the White Mountains of NH we are at peak or a little past. This would be a great weekend because it is supposed to be sunny and in the 50/60's.

Connecticut (At least the south-eastern part of the state) is making a slow-go at the foliage, but we'll get there.

sourthern nh...i don't think its at peak yet but it was a beautiful day today and i did notice how pretty the changing leaves look. i think this weekend would be nice for leaf peepers.

We are just about at peak in Central Vermont - rule of thumb is that we are at peak Columbus Day weekend. It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend, but the leaf peepers will be out in full force. It might be tough to find a place to stay if you venture up this way.

It probably peaking in Ct. but it was a very bad year for color. We had very little rain during the summer and some of the leaves on som of the trees turned early and then others just turned brown. The trees that didn't turn brown but held onto their green had nice colors after the rain last week but then it was windy. Not the best year. Last year was nice.

We are about 50% here in Central Maine. Driving over to Fryeburg yesterday was pretty. Especially as we got closer to the Fryeburg/Conway, NH area.
