Lucy ~ I apologize, but somehow I missed your post (as well as a few others). My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Losing a parent (or an in-law) is tough, but you will look back at all the fond memories. (Love the Small World tactic....must remember that one!!)

JoAnn ~ I am proud of you and your success on WW!! Keep it up!

Lynn ~ I EXPECT to see you in that dress on formal night!!! You go girl! That will be a great motivational tool. (I once bought a dress like that for our first anniversary; couldn't wear it.......I GOT PREGNANT before I could!!!!!)

Alice and Bill ~ Welcome! We will love having you aboard!! Yeah...Indiana. Pretty much the "armpit of America". I am native, but would rather live in Florida. I have just a few years left and I am outta here!!!

Lisa ~ You don't give up either!

I actually got up and worked out this morning. First time in a while (anemia has been an issue, if you know what I mean), but since the surgery I feel so much better! Just keep your fingers crossed that this worked because if not, I will be having "the big one" and it WILL NOT interrupt this cruise!!!!

Look at that ticker down there! It's looking so good! Baseball season is just around the corner

First my MIL, now today I find out about a very close friend's
mother passing away today, AND, tomorrow MORE SNOW.

Ok, Jenny...WTG......I'm just hoping for some Spring weather at this point!

So I answer the phone... it's my darling Daughter JoAnn....
She proceeds to tell me about all the problems at work ,home,etc it's pretty much the same stories, so I endure ,and offer what little symphAthy I can....!!
I decide to unload my current griefs ,with sore elbows, eye problems,
surgery ,arthritus,.....I'm expecting some kind feedback.....She starts laughing..I mean tears in the eyes laughing...is that the way it's supposed to be...??

OK, well I'm on day TWO of my change of eating habits (refuse to say diet). I'm doing good so far, haven't been tempted and am feeling full. I can't exercise though, I was in an auto accident on Sunday . My neck and back are killing me and I learned today from my doctor that I have to have 6-8 weeks of physical therapy at least 2 times a week. I go tomorrow for my first appointment, I'll have to ask when I can start exercising. What a bummer, not to mention my car. UGH!!! Oh well, what can you do?!

Hope you get over the car accident quickly, my hubby wrote his car off in the first week of january we pick up a new one on the 4th March. He is so lucky on the 3rd Jan we were on our way out when his back seized up and he was in real pain. Then 2 days later he has this car accident and I'm really worried about his back as he's standing by the road talking to police exchanging details etc in the pitch dark and pouring rain. He says he can't feel it, I put it down to adrenaline and shock. But no the bump seems to have jolted his neck/spine back into place painfree ever since (touch wood). Not a text book cure I'm sure but very effective!!!

Lynn-well there's a great story....glad your hubby is feeling good! I was just rear-ended on the freeway, so my car just needs a new bumper, paint job, etc. Like you said, now I'm REALLY looking forward to the cruise!

There was a post about the tickers. Basically they're removing the HTML ability because it makes us vulnerable to hackers who could put a virus in there which we could all get or something along those lines. So, you really should go back into your user CP and delete all that stuff so you don't have to keep looking at it because we're not going to have the tickers like we used to. I guess you can still have a ticker but I couldn't understand the directions so if y'all figure it out please let me know. So I had my first physical therapy appointment today. I guess my neck and back are a mess, but I felt so good after the appointment. I'll be going twice a week for six weeks. Tomorrow I get my car appraised.

The new counters do months and weeks There must be a way to do days too. I got mine from TickerFactory.com. You just type in your date choose a line and a marker and type in your text It will do there are X months/weeks until then you type in the rest. Then just copy using copy and paste the code they give you into your sig box on the dis board. Don't use the HmTL code use the BB one and it should all work. Hope that helps

JoAnn ~ How's the WW going? Are you starting to get over that "hungry hump". That's always the tough part. How is school? Aren't you about ready to pack for the CA trip?

Lisa ~ Take care of yourself. I know this PT is going to do the trick for you! How's the car estimate? How is the "change of habit" going for you? I like that way of thinking!

I remain living day to day looking forward to Spring Break (begins March 12th). I will get a Disney Intervention and baseball intervention. April 4th is Opening Day in Cincinnati and I WILL BE THERE! It's baseball season that really makes me realize that summer can be a reality......I could use some of that! Otherwise not much here. DS11 finished his basketball season yesterday, so I get about 3 weeks of no kid's sports. That is always a good thing.

I don't know about you guys, but I cannot get into these new ticker thingys. They aren't as exciting as the old ones. I liked that __ days stuff! I am thankful that the boards have enough sense to protect us though!! That I can appreciate. A couple of years ago I got that "Worm" that shut down the NJ license branches. That was a bear to get rid of!!

I called WDW yesterday and tried to sign my two little ones up for the pirate cruise that is at the Grand Floridian. Everyday was sold out! Just as the cast member started to hang up, she shouted WAIT! Just this week they added a new cruise that starts at the YC/BC. I was estatic because we stay at the Boardwalk!!! Much more convenient! DS7 will be 8 on Thursday that week, so this is a little treat/surprise for his birthday!

So, today is Lucy's birthday - she can't eat cake, due to WW weigh-in
Tuesday night.....she has had a rough two weeks.....so, today, I'm
going to do my favorite thing - bake for everyone else. I LOVE to bake,
and everyone likes the things I bake - I make things with nuts so I don't
eat them - I'm allergic to nuts (except peanuts). My DH must work
today (retail), BUT a close friend is making us dinner. As I said before,
we have so many thoughtful and caring friends. (and I believe I've added
to my friends list thru this board - you all sound so wonderful - I can't
wait to meet each and every one of you.)
Now, you would think BILL could wish LUCY a happy birthday today,
what do you girls think about that - let's make him feel guilty for
not keeping in touch with us
AND, another thing my friends, I am NOT going to tell you my age,
DO YOU HEAR ME?
Snow tomorrow again - maybe no school, 6-10" predicted.
