All are asleep but myself..... I had such a great time with you guys! I really appreciate how everyone just takes my kids in and make them feel such a part of everything too! Thanks to Bob and Lucy for standing in line for M&M to see Hairspray! Mallory was making things on her doodle board at the game tonight and had "I love Lucy, Tracy and Alex" on it! It was so cute! I was so glad that JoAnn, Ken (you are off the hook with Marshall now, dude!), Tracy and Tara could make it. I enjoyed getting to know the girls a little better as did the kids. I was also glad that the Bolusi's could make the trip into the city and enjoyed their company! Sorry we missed you Briana! Thanks to everyone for going out of their way to come to see us this weekend! It made us all feel so great!:grouphug: Oh, and Tyler, Mallory is still mortified by your hairy legs!!!!:lmao: :lmao: She says you need to shave them!:confused3 :rotfl2:

Toured Yankee Stadium today.......AMAZING! Saw the game tonight! We had a great time and loved the history. I got chills thinking about who has played on that field that we got to walk on!! (Twisted, I know!:rotfl: )We are now at the Hyatt Grand Central Station. Nice rooms and ammenities, but sure loved the Regency too........try that Consierge Collection sometime guys!

Tomorrow?? Fly by the seat of our pants!! statue?? Chinatown? Empire State Bldg??? We'll see....... I'll check in since I have internet now!!!
Thanks again for making the trip guys! Bill, Alice, Lynn & Keith you were most certainly missed! I want to see you guys sometime, somewhere!:sad1:

Kutztown MAY have been hit by a mini tornado last night.
Let me tell you how scary it was.
Around 10:00 - I'm trying to fall asleep. Bob watching TV, Bryan and Tyler of course out with friends.
It starts hailing, I mean SERIOUS hailing like I've never heard. Power goes out. Bob sees our patio table and chairs fly thru the air - our back door blows open....hail, hail, and I mean BIG stuff. I run downstairs to the main floor - too late to hit the basement.....scared to death. Sirens, sirens everywhere and darkness. I look out back door and ground lightening hits our back yard...thanks goodness not the house, but too close for comfort.
Bryan pulls in the front of the house, says where he was there was NOTHING.
I hear Tyler is on Main St. with a buddy and they DID seek shelter, but I was C-R-A-Z-Y. Bob and I decide to walk down to Main Street in the darkness, find electrical wires down everywhere, but we have a flashlight. SO MUCH DAMAGE on Main Street. Our local factory is on fire.
Today we went out looking at the damage. We have helicopters flying over Kutztown, Phila. TV stations all over town. News 'claims' it was not a tornado, but the NOAA is assessing it. I'm so glad we were home for this and not in NYC. I'm done with summer weather. Our house did ok, but neighbors have trees in their yards, in the streets, houses have missing sidings.....
that is ENOUGH adventure for ME this summer.:scared1:

TG your going to WDW in a few weeks!! Will that be hurricane season?  :scared1:

Meantime, we had no bad weather last night!:confused3

Seriously, sorry!

Not a drop here in NYC either! :confused3

Lucy, I can so relate to your experience. As you know, I have been in a few tornados, including one right after our new school opened with 500 little precious ones. We heard it go over and it wiped out houses before and after each of the three schools, but hopped over all three.....:sad2: It was that day too that we lost our roof at the house to hail damage. I pity anyone who goes through storms like that. I am mortified of storms....:sad1:

We are lazy this morning. 4 showers down and one to go yet.

This is our link for the Med cruise blog.......Lynn also has created one, so we'll have to have her add the Brit version!

If you open mine, you'll see Ken modeling the cruise Tshirt and read some boring comments........hopefully, it will get more interesting as we go on....:confused3

Thanks for the blog information. I have it added to my favorites and look forward to following you guys!

I am so happy for your families to get to take this once in a lifetime cruise! :yay: I will love following your travels just as you have followed ours!

Lynn - please fill us in on your blog! I want to follow the "British View" as well!:cheer2:

We visited the statue today. The passes to get in were sold out, but we got the effect. Visited Liberty Island, skipped Ellis Island and headed to Ground Zero. My emotions were different than expected. John and I both kept thinking about the people running down the streets as we looked down the same ones ourselves. The memorial outside Ladder 10 was emotional for sure. Went through Chinatown, then up to Macy's. The kids liked seeing where the T-day Parade is held and also it was fun since my mother works for Macy's. Still no NYC backpack yet! We find Yankees, but no NYC. That's what Mal wants! Went back to the ESPN Zone for a bite. Kids are tired and watching Disney Channel now. I will probably shop tomorrow and we still may want to catch the Empire State Building and/or Rockerfeller Center. Tomorrow is our last full day in the city until we return to the midwest.

Hope all is well. Keep me up on what is going on. Everyone is leaving for trips soon, right? Bolusi=Cancun, Lawall, Hopf and Tarrant=Med and Williams=BWV, right?????? My fun is over and your is all just starting!:dance3:

Thx for sharing, Jenski....Tara and I walked up Broadway yesterday about 20 blocks, it was so cool (from Macy's to 53rd).........sounds like you're having so much fun! Empire State Building has timed tix so get there early to get to the top.........Rockerfeller Center has a lot of stores around it and some top of the rock exhibit(never did that!) Give us details please!:goodvibes

I can't believe your trip is almost over:scared1: :sad1: :sad2: :grouphug:
We were watching NYC shows this morning and saw the weather was NOT good....Bob said, I hope they sleep in today! Suggestion: what about the NBC tour by Rockefeller Center?

The blogs? PLEASE Lynn post your site....I've got Tara's on my favorite - haven't checked out the tee-shirt guy yet:scared1: :surfweb:

Bob called in sick yesterday to clean up the little mess we had from our storm....as did every other neighbor...went for a walk last night in the neighborhood and saw how lucky we were. Our friends down the street had alot more damage...you could see the path of that storm. My cousin who lives on the street above us, lives alone with her mother, had major damage in her back yard (trees pulled down power lines). Talked to a fireman yesterday (yes, Lucy knows EVERYONE) and he said NOONE was hurt, and we can all be thankful for that.
Also yesterday went to the doctor for my swollen hand, and he diagnosed as carpel tunnel AND inflammed tendonitis (this ALL happened for $8 an hour because I worked at our festival:furious: :furious: :furious: ). Put me in a brace, gave me a shot in my "hindster" and medication. Already I can feel a difference - it is very fortunate for ALL OF YOU I can now write alot more on this thread!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Joannster: aren't you getting nervous? I'd be a mess right now needing to pack for the Med, heck you can't live with me when I need to pack for a night in NYC:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (unfortunately it is true and Bob will agree with that!)

More later....gotta do some work now that I can use my hand a little more....MAN, by the weekend I hope to be cleaning up this house.:dance3:

you're right, the weather is not good. Consierge said tornado warnings on LI. Mal and I planned 5th Ave, but maybe later. Probably why Mal and Tracy hit it off was the love of shopping!!

Yes, we slept in since Mark and I closed the bar. All others were asleep, but John, so HEY! Our last full day/night in the city. Mark says he likes it here because most are impatient like him!:lmao:

Glad no one was hurt in Ktown. Trees are replaceable.............

Definitely give us the blogs to bookmark!!!!:wizard: T-shirt guy looked great! NY will be calling him to model next!;)

It's hard to imagine the intensity of your storm, we got nothing! I know the storms are brewing lately..........the humidity and heat is alittle much for this early in the summer!

I am going to start doing something as soon as I get off of these boards....it's time to start!!:cool1:

How funny, we got home on Monday and Tracy asked me on Tuesday if we could go shopping..........she said I didn't have to buy her anything, though!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sounds like you're having a wonderful trip, Jennee..............sorry about your wrist, Luceee (LL);)
